On the subject of the slip; I was also operating under the assumption this game was vanilla, and it informed my opinion on slots. I thought everyone claiming roles was {in jest, ignorant of mechanics, desperate scum}. Since it wasn't explicit I understand it not showing clearly in my iso.

but right now im thinking xyzzy's role name could indicate that the scum team may have known xyzzy would possibly explode at some point, and i think that would lead to scum preemptively distancing from them

i think this is moot because my specific wording was "placed on the injured list" (which is good... i avow my past self) and that's generally not something that happens until the day after the game or something like that

My only real defense is that I wasn't the first person to scumread xyzzy for those same posts, nor was I the last. I thought the slot wasn't worth pressing as hard as ofrhz was, but in hindsight, it seems to have had the same amount of resistance, just more passively.

The town world can't exist, because no one reads the Koba/Ranger 1v1, decides its SvS, and votes Koba without further explanation. They have to elaborate on that, because they have to know they're alone in thinking it -- especially when every active slot says "wow, openwolfing" in response and they STILL have nothing to say.

there's pages and pages of dkkoba and ranger spewing nonsense back and forth at each other. this game has the illusion of urgency because, my god, tommy could whack that ball right outta the park at any moment, but the truth is that this is mathematically super town-sided and we do not need to panic. dumping that many posts in the thread that quickly is a great way to clog the whole game up while also making people feel like a lot has happened and surely we must've talked this through enough to end the day. and, like, i could contribute to that and quote a hundred posts and say "here's why this one's bullshit, and here's why this one's bullshit, and here's why this one's double bullshit," but who needs that? the point is that the entire corpus of dkkoba v ranger is scummy.

i just read xyzzy's ISO and now i remember why i had it low b4 the vote on me, and it was bc like there was a *single* game related post in all of it, now theres a total of 3 only.
