Yeah Sail didn’t give reasoning for those reads is the problem.
It wouldn’t be helpful to us if a scum!Sail flipped and their closing statement was: "Btw Titus is scum" as that doesn’t have any explanation behind it so it’s almost the same as saying nothing.
Which is why i feel they haven’t been behaving townie in their EoD so i haven’t felt inclined to unvote.
But we still have time so i don’t mind some parallell wagons.

Sail's not my preferred flip. I don't particularly care to join the wagon. I personally believe Sail will flip town. I don't think so enough to advocate against, as I'm explicitly okay with the Sail elimination. I simply won't partake.

It's not something I think makes Sail instantly top my town charts. It does make me think Sail's more likely to flip town.

Ranger I'm not following how you evolved from the first post to the Sail vote

I see that you appeared to re-examine some townreads and did not find reason to doubt them, but did your Sail read change at all? I think what people (myself included) are seeing as 'off' is that you're vocalizing thoughts of Sail being town, or at least not-scummy, but your drive to wagon elsewhere seems non-existent, and now it's culminated in voting a slot you think will flip town?

They think Sail flips Town, stated they “wouldn’t partake”, they have posted 1705 as their last set of reads, and they still vote Sail? They either do not believe their reads in the least (it’s not like it’s 1, it’s the entire bottom, and all of their strongest SRs), or they think what, the entire Team is bussing Sail? Why not push osuka then? It’s not like there wasn’t an alternative, or it’s not like I couldn’t personally stay on osuka without hesitation or a whole lot of suspicion thrown my way.

Agreed. Their response is gonna be that they don’t ACTUALLY scumread all those slots, just the bottom two. But then they’re diving into the world they said they didn’t want to with the slots they do ACTUALLY townread.

I've too many players I think more town than scum.

My instincts are actually telling me the issue lies not in the middle to lower section, and I'm townreading efforting-deepscum near the top. Yet, due to the lengthy isos of most and the subtle warning signs I'd need to be scrutinizing for, it'd be far more effort than I can give right now. Spotting the tryharding scum requires looking at an iso I'm already inclined to think town and looking for signs it may not be. I don't have it in me now. Tempted to shelf it until D2, honestly.

Ugh I do recall the PR thing, and it’s entirely possible we are right about Sail, Sail was trying to not spew other players’ alignments with their last set of posts (which were relatively brief, and I hate the fact that Sail wasn’t fighting particularly hard either), and Ranger is just wrong but compromised anyway.

The lack of conviction is bothering me. A lot. @Ranger why am I Scum to you? Maybe let’s start there.

I will be surprised if osuka is town, I also think Titus is scum.

This is not particularly Towny I have to say. That’s not to say that they have not engaged in somewhat of a back and forth with osuka, which I think is fair enough. But I imagine myself being particularly upset if I was in their shoes, and that’s what’s not computing for me.

We have almost two more days, but with time zones, we probably have to be locking in votes within the next 24 hours to make sure we dismiss someone. I think the pressure on Ranger is fair and I want to see some back and forth. I also want to see what other players think. If we can’t get a majority (and I don’t want to ignore the initial claim either), I will be voting for Sail and hoping for the best.

why is Norwee the only player to get the "not totally sure" qualifier? doesn't "leaning scum" already imply you're not sure? are you saying you're more confident that Titus and Ranger are scum than Norwee? why wouldn't Norwee just be in the tier above?

I could envision numerous scenarios in which he might be very scummy and a lot of worlds in which he might be very towny. My read of him had the highest degree of uncertainty compared to my other reads.

Then I read their interactions with KKFC who I thought was just being a fly on the wall and treading water but then with their interactions osuka looked pretty bad and KKFC owned.

What about the slot at E-1

I agree that Ranger is scummy but I think currently people are more distracted by shinier objects, and I don’t think that’s a huge deal unless you think they are both town wagons

The sail wagon is basically just the doctor drew wagon 2.0 and then aside from the osuka wagon which briefly existed between this, people outside the sail wagon group haven't been able to organise into anything despite my repeated attempts to try and find something

Not a float, but I agree. Makes me want to flip them for game state VCA but on the other hand I doubt all are scum.

I think it means Sail, osuka, Ari, and Ranger are stronger scum reads - while RCE and myswlf are weaker scum reads

It's probably unrealistic/unlikely but I've been sorta low-key hoping Ranger vs Wheme is SvS so all of us can each be right about those two slots in our own way
