@Ranger on your push on Wheme - my view is as follows and we can put this to rest (I had missed your
1692). From where I sit, it seemed Wheme interpreted your words at face value, and thought you had slipped (again, I don’t treat the sequence as a slip, it just isn’t). You retorted that they were wrong on the facts. The reason I described it as an attempt to “lower their standing” is not for anything you said directly, but because your response was that they had seen meaning in your words and ranking of slots that simply didn’t exist (my words). I think your response was unfair (and Scummy) because a literal reading of your statements could easily have been interpreted as you saying one thing at first (that Wheme was much higher than FA in your reads, though I get it - you clarified later that this wasn’t the case) that didn’t match subsequent statements (you would happily vote Wheme as stated in
849 because they had decent odds of flipping Scum, despite it being a “lazy” wagon).
Okay, you clarified that the strength of the read wasn’t there, and Wheme should not have run with it to the extent that they did. Fine. But the point you made - that they were wrong about the factual content of your posts, that’s what I felt was wrong. And wrong in a way that would be more harmful for Wheme’s standing in the game than if they had merely been accused of exaggerating (which, again, I do feel they did). Remember, your clarification came

Wheme accused you of slipping, which I think is important.
Like I don’t think I have the above wrong on the sequence. I’m not trying to beat a dead horse, but I want to make sure I’m not imagining anything, or at least get you to see where I’m coming from even if you disagree. You seem to be unwilling to accept that you were not clear initially about the strength of your reads on the three slots, which Wheme thought you were conveniently ignoring to allow yourself to vote them, which seemed off to me. That’s the point.
I separately complained that you had me as Scum (or relatively low on your rankings) despite not looking through my catch up posts in much detail, though I will freely admit that it comes from me not seeing you probe at them and nothing anything I can ascertain with certainty. You could have read them closely, thought about my content, and then concluded I was Scum anyway. I just didn’t give you the benefit of the doubt there and perhaps that’s on me.
