i think the tilt is real but the problem with town reading people for being upset is that it incentivizes people to get upset to get town read which makes the game a devolving spiral of misery

I'm too short sighted and too motivated by my win condition. I tend to think AtE is kind of like a candle anyway. It works for a little, but it won't sustain you for long.

You don't have to scum read them tho. I'd expect paranoia or at least consideration if their action was in good faith. Keeping the mood positive and light doesn't seem (to me at least) to require this sort of selectivity.
