I agree that CCS has been towny over the past 10 pages or so. I think the way he approached his claim (like wanting to claim early despite his role losing power once outed) strike me as someone who is playing truthfully but is missing some game information.

The only thing I couldn't reconcile is why BlueSnakelet accumulated 100 TPR points on Night 1 despite the role not being that strong. It's possible that the original study guide post was WIFOM, but when I looked back at it, I realized that the entire study guide post from BlueSnakelet might have been an elaborate soft.


BlueSnakelet was probably paranoid that scum had role names, so he didn't explicitely say "cheat sheet", but Project Study Hall in 233 is functionally a cheat sheet for town roles on how much they should study.

Looking at popular names for an alternate wagon, I think I would vote for furtive (right now) and Ranger (possibly on a reread). I would probably be convinced to vote for Wheme. I think Drew's paranoia about CCS's claim makes him town for now but I recognize that his is a meta read based off of one game I've played with him.

It's possible that both town and scum could soft a PR early on, but I would expect scum!BlueSnakelet to have put something down in the scum PT, and thus for CCS to say "look I'm town the slot I replaced into was softing the role I went on to claim", but he didn't, and this just reinforces my belief that CCS is town.


I guess my case kind of hinges on 233 being a soft, but I'm not sure why else BlueSnakelet makes it and then proceeds to ignore it?
