I suspect the scumteam made the decision to nuke each other under the assumption of 'this has a 30%ish chance of hitting and a 70%ish chance of making us look pretty good' and got rather unlucky

Which is still true logic even after it has backfired previously and I don't have a problem assigning it to anyone in particular
