I do remember in my last game of 9 people, we massclaimed on D2 and other people said it was really early—I’ll be honest and say I don’t know the exact reasons why doing it at a certain time is better or not, though.

However, we did have our power roles taken out by the NKs after, so I suppose here we’re deciding when it’s best to trade our conf/lock towns dying each night for our PRs dying instead, right?

I think this is a pretty rock solid PoE from the Day 1 wagon. I've explained why before but if people need another explanation I can do it again.

Brightbluebug and Jackson/Charlie were the most recent to post and be off any wagon entirely.

Charlie/Jackson I gave that slot a pass before, but they actually posted the most recent of any of the non-voters. It was only one post though.

regarding Titus

I just finished a game where I rolled scum with Titus and there were a lot of conf-town that came up as a result of mechanical plays. Titus’ primary way of dealing with that as scum was to outright disbelieve the conf-towns and cast doubt on the claims as a whole by calling the setup too townsided if the claims were true. I’ve seen Titus react similarly to claims before as scum too, discrediting them as too powerful, probably at least somewhat because scum!Titus feels disadvantaged having to play against so many conf towns.

I thought 4 conf towns in a 13 player game would be enough to make Titus have a negative reaction if she were scum, and that’s why I shoved the “fact” of 4 conf towns in her face as soon as she started reading. I didn’t want to give her too much time to prepare her reaction.

I’m also pretty sure I understand what Titus is laying down with her crumb and mech speculation and I think it probably makes her town as well. It would just be a very convoluted way to play the role as scum for very little benefit.

That's a believable thought but why would you tell her you're wanting her reaction so you could read her better? If you just completed a scum game with her where a similar situation happened then I feel like that's a huge signal that maybe she should be careful how she responds. I feel like the normal townie thing to do would be to wait for her reaction instead of revealing that you're looking for a read

mostly my read on blackstar has shifted because they’ve spent entirely too much time nitpicking arguments against himself in a way i find scum indicative instead of finding scum

Read his back and forth with animatedwiz, it looks like he is trying to win a debate competition, not actually case wiz as scum or sort his slot any further

It feels very focused on inconsistent logic and loopholes and I feel like that would be the easiest type of content for scum Blckstar to make right now. There’s very little attempted sorting of me, or gob, or any of the other optional slots. In fact, it seems like he doesn’t have much to say about me which is odd given how much I’ve had to say about him
