The world where both HPE/Elements are town is the one where Elements was roleblocked last night (because the other way for town!Elements to get no result is if you're ascetic, which you aren't if you're town).

And I got the verdict on my question, and apparently I just don't know how roles work. The message would go through, but only if the target appears not to be aligned with the town, which is the opposite of how I thought it worked. So you claiming not to have received the message means that either you're actually innocent and were demillerized or that you just understand the mech better than I do.
