Variable time is definitely a thing. That's why I state my RL impediments like 7am meetings that I have to lead openly so that it can be taken into account.
Titus for example saying she has court as a reason why she seems less energetic is a great reaction to my comment. Just don't ever abuse RL and you'll be fine.
