Ah, well if you guys figure any conclusions from that, lmk. I don't know anyone here well enough to be useful, and frankly some of the best mafia players I've known would periodically mess with their meta quite well.

Why pay mind to a VT claim during RvS with 10 years on?

Because most of my mafia career was on sites where roleclaiming was strictly forbidden and would get you modkilled instantly. So this is my second game with claiming allowed and it's... weird. Especially a VT claim so early. If you are a VT, you've helped the mafia target the power roles. If you are lying, you will destroy your credibility later on. I just don't get it.

Getting meta data was not my intent ftr
I wanted to sort out the #of scum question, the account issue was tangentially related but will not affect my opinions in this game (mainly since I had like zero games with Wake prior and I put emphasis on my firsthand meta)

I think there's partner equity in Guillotina/kyouko

Guillotina said she would support a kyouko wagon but jumped off less than 30 minutes later, right after Elements and I joined. I don't think the Celebloki vote was a very good reason to suddenly end their support and having Celebloki at the bottom of their preliminary reads in 310 feels like a performative justification for voting there rather than an actual read

In both 293 and 377 they made sure to include that they weren't voting for the same reason as the person they were sheeping which feels like scum that might be trying to flaunt that their read is unique and different

I think the questions from Guillotina are like...ok, but nothing scum couldn't come up with in an attempt to seem townie, and I think the interpretation in 374 is really odd and it just feels like unnecessary shade towards Timmer

If this is to do with being worried for a partner's safety I disagree. 2 people joining a wagon in a large is barely even pressure, there's no need for Guillotina to move off a partner here

Yeah I think based on Guillo’s posting so far the logical conclusion is he is just liberal with his vote. I saw little to indicate he had a change of mind on Celeb but he changed votes still.

I think this is a good point but it just gives me the feeling that nothing Guillotina is pushing is real. It feels more like a "hey look I'm trying to solve!" than actual solving

Ah. I have played themed games where flavor claiming was forbidden since the game was not airtight to flavor-based solving.

Hrm, maybe I'm not seeing it for Kyouko but that could just be the way I play. I'll sit here and let people do their thing though the threadstate seems healthy so I'm not gonna get in yalls way.

Have you played mafia elsewhere?

Yeah! I played video mafia before. I'm not new to mafia but I tend to have everyone as town to begin with and then take away or give points. It's a lot easier for me because I feel like my ability to catch wolves is subpar.

Do you have any thoughts on people? I see a lot of your posting is mostly resolving around yourself. Not that that's a bad thing, but I'm curious!

The reason I asked this btw was because your play felt pretty passive so I wanted to know if you had a reason for playing the way you do, and this satisfied that interest.
