You took my lack of interest in voting a particular player as a refusal of participation in your townblock. That feels like a form of bullying where if players don’t act in the way you want, you will eject them from your clique.

On writing that out I realized that feels pretty scum indicative because I am pretty sure that’s mafia (as in the irl crime organization) behavior? Not trying to imply anything about you personally, just saying I think a tactic like that would work for scum play.

Of course I don't know what manipulative means. I also don't know what mafia means, or voting.

I supplied the definition for ease of reference so that when I say I wasn't attempting to control or influence, it would be clear that this is what manipulation means.

My main point of interest was how much focus there was on yourself in other game, it looks like not as much as here, but I can see extenuating circumstances causing that to not be weird.

From this I think that Broccoli and Gamma are both a little right in their recent back and forth.
It is somewhat manipulative to say that not conforming would mean not being in the townblock.
It is lessened by saying Gamma's probably town anyway.
I can see where Broccoli could think that takes away the manipulation, but Gamma could think it doesn't.

From my experience most people who start the push are the ones who become the most underflame from a push. Especially with how intense Gamma was about it.

I don't know if that is the cause of the entitlement but I find entitlement townie, is it annoying yes? Do I give in to entitlement myself? Absolutely not, but I don't think scum would try to blackmail you into voting someone by threatening you not becoming part of their "towncore" so openly in the thread, I believe they'd find more subtle ways. Also I don't understand what r/niceguys mean.

It’s a way of calling a behavior stereotypical, essentially saying it’s so nainstream that a subreddit exists about it. As for the specific term, “nice guys” are heterosexual males that believe that basic courtesy and pleasantries are warranting of sexual favors. It’s relevant since townreading someone is what I would consider a basic move, one that would not compel most players to act in a way the person giving the townread wants.
