Oh, right, it's just that the relevant part to your spec on whether cid should out was in the OP one. Question still stands. Why didn't you spend more time considering whether Cid should be a D1 mech elimination while we had low info instead of risking permadeath on the IC?

I'll just come out and say it: I think jj is scum here. He's got low energy/excitement for where I think he'd be in a mech heavy game for a flavor he'd like. He's engaging and doing well, but I don't really get the sense that he wants to be. I know that he's capable of this level of play, his sig is from a much more impressive scumgame than this one if it turns out I'm right.

I'm still fine just letting him be and doing his own thang for now, but I'm particularly interested in any cases that could show he's town, because if he is I want to use him as a sounding board and I can't really do that without the trust.

If scum are indeed limited to using one of their factional powers per player, then we would be in a better position mechanically if we voted out a different scum player in this day phase

Even if scum have any leftover factional abilities, doubt they are gonna be any more dangerous than what we've seen so far.

Going for Unknown scum is probably even more dangerous.
This is just an extreme scenario but, assume on top of Pooky's vig granted by Cid, Scum also has another factional vig and could kill 2 townies tonight, if you miselim today we'd just straight up lose the game (well i guess probably not since we're at evens, but that's not the point).

There isn't a mechanical reason for that in this game

Do we have a reason to believe scum have 4 factional abilities and each scum can use each only once?
If that is the case, and just in that assumption, Pooky never used his, so the Vanillize came from one of the remaining scum, you'd be hunting for the exact 1 scum that hasnt used one.
And even if pooky used his, you're in the same situation.
It's not worth the risk.

If there is a goon that we know about and can eliminate at any time, and then there is also potential to vote out a scum power role before they get to do something, then the goon is not a priority

It's likely a 50% if we do get a scum if my assumptions are correct


Regardless of whether I am right or wrong, we will be back to trying to find a scum in day 5

Like if it's a factional ability i dont see how it would be restricted to each scum only using one per game.
I can see the factional abilities being 1-Shot, I dont see how it precludes Boat from using another factional ability if the Gladiate was one.
Furthermore, assuming scum can have PRs outside of Cid's power we dont know if Boat has an actual PR, all we know is Gamma used a Gladiate, whether it was his PR or a factional ability is another thing.
