This is actually pretty insightful, though I don't agree that it isn't possible to have a logical push d1. Most logic based d1 scum lims are the result of a mistake by scum.In post 2022, geraintm wrote:A good choice has strong logic behind it. TBH I didn't pay any attention to what came before NAS's post. I just saw Psyche's post and responded to it.In post 2007, geraintm wrote:im sorry, it is just the way i go through the game. i go back tomy last post and just read through and reply as i come to something interesting. how it ends up sometimes i think i have hammered someone and don't realise there is a later unvote. In post 2004, davesaz wrote:I kinda like it from the point of view that I agree that excessive posts make the game hard to read. it honestly isnt meant to confuse.
This is basically the reason for how I responded the way I did. Saying we had no chance of making the right choice just seems weird. Throw all the statistics and odds out that you want but this just feels like too little too late justification for doing next to nothing day 1 when many of us were having constant conversations about what was best to do. It’s easy to say after the fact that it was pointless once you know the result. In post 2029, davesaz wrote:This is actually pretty insightful, though I don't agree that it isn't possible to have a logical push d1. geraintm says this in every game he playsIn post 2031, KayJayQueue wrote: This is basically the reason for how I responded the way I did. Oh. Well that’s unfortunate for my read then. I guess I should be doing research into how people play previous games if I want a full idea of why things are happening. But that just feels so tedious…In post 2032, Aristeia wrote:geraintm says this in every game he playsIn post 2031, KayJayQueue wrote: This is basically the reason for how I responded the way I did. it doesnt make him town it just makes him unreadableIn post 2033, KayJayQueue wrote: Oh. Well that’s unfortunate for my read then. I guess I should be doing research into how people play previous games if I want a full idea of why things are happening. But that just feels so tedious…
That’s what I mean by it being unfortunate to my read lol it basically means I have no read (on him)In post 2034, Aristeia wrote:it doesnt make him town it just makes him unreadableIn post 2033, KayJayQueue wrote: Oh. not playing d1?In post 2035, Aristeia wrote: he has a policy of basically not playing in games
Can’t say I didn’t bring that on myself lolIn post 2039, NotAScum wrote: but I think I can update my scum list, particularly KJQ's rank.
UNVOTE: Hu Tao
think im inclined to agree, though i'd say "cohesive" rather than "insightful"In post 2029, davesaz wrote:This is actually pretty insightful, though I don't agree that it isn't possible to have a logical push d1. The theme of this game is officially “fan fiction” confirmed! In post 2043, Psyche wrote: im rushing and probably not articulating correctly but the idea that scum literally never provide good reasons to vote for them on D1 just feels like a fake belief you'd give to a character in a story to make his actions believable and drive the story's action, especially on someone with a 2006 join date...
Not a good vote.
you would be much more pleasant to play with if you actually engaged people instead of just repeating what you wanted over and over with little to no substantiation
