Newbie 996 - Starting Small [Game Over]

Reading that, I'm leaning more towards obnoxious than scummy or incompetent. In all honesty, I am much more interested in hearing what Moose has to say, because I think he is overall a scummier person. However, obnoxious/obstructive players are still a pain to play with, and make things more difficult for the town.

I don't like you. I am playing the game and trying to have fun, not work a second job. I love how people think i'm scum cuz i'm "obnoxious" Like that makes any sense.

Oh, and don't sit there and act like i've taken anything from the town. Two of the major bandwagons have involved me in some way. I've been called townie and scum more than anyone. That's good for town. Gives us chances to see each other in different situation.

So, my question for yoiu is to go back and reread and post a few posts i did that were "scummy" and not annoying.

Parama: Why jim? Specifically, where is he buddying DMSIS? Feels town.

He isn't, actually. They're attempting to distance but when you have to give each other advice during the game day it's pretty hard to successfully distance <_<

Several people (3, now) have said that they find your posting style difficult to read, and that is anti-town. Anti-town behavior is either incompetence or pro-scum, and you're the IC.

This is a minor newb-scum tell. Townies are much less worried about looking bad and dying than finding the scum, for clear reasons

I find both moose and DMSIS scummy and think that one or both are scum, for the reasons I said above. If I switch votes between these two players, its simply to keep the pressure up on both.

Yes. Considering the reactions of other people, 5 people seem to be sure / almost sure DMSIS is scum (Parama, Cliquey, me, you, and moose). Then, smargaret is suspicious of DMSIS as well, and the other two people are not voting right now... so a DMSIS lynch would make sense.

DMSIS, VT is the standard claim for a scum in a newbie game (or so I was told in my first newbie) and therefore should be hammered if not in a mass claim or LyLo.

You made three posts since my accusations and largely ignored them. You have acted scummy all game. We all thought you were. Doubtful told me to hammer you. I did. I was in a discussion in my first newbie game in which it was generally concluded that a claimed VT on D1 is usually worth lynching in an F11 setup. Your claim is the easiest for a scum to fake.

Then leave out everything else. We don't want a paraphrase of everything DMSIS has said. We want why it's important. Most of the post is boring information.
Hint: Don't do a complete PBPA, ever. Only reference important quotes. Otherwise people will yell at you, like i'm yelling at you.

Wait, hammering after DMSIS makes three posts without responding to my accusations, and after doubtful suggests the hammer is scummy? Half the town's been trying to decide whether or not to lynch him for the last few pages, and I just followed doubtful's suggestion that we finally do it. He's been playing scummier than tar in July and hasn't made a single good defense yet, but hammering him is dumb/scummy? He claimed VT on top of it; isn't a VT claim at L-1 on D1 just begging for a hammer? If he really is scum, he could make a better claim, sure, but this is the same player who's been playing WIFOM all game with us. He's been basing everything on what scum would and wouldn't do. Now he claims VT, probably hoping that we would think scum would fakeclaim a PR and trying to play WIFOM to get out of it again. Doubtful admittedly did kinda lead me into the hammer, but DMSIS was asking for it by not even trying to defend against our accusations.

@all: Would you consider Doubtful's suggestion of the hammer scummy?

Read hohum's #202 and especially 207 in this finished game. It explains why hammering a claimed VT is goodtownplay. I disagreed at the time, but the idea makes sense now.
