Newbie 996 - Starting Small [Game Over]

@smargaret: I hammered because I was satisfied that two players were scummy. If one died and the other got investigated, I would know at least one scum, I figured, so I lynched one and investigated the other.

@moose: Scum did not kill you because you looked really scummy yesterday for most of the day and had a big wagon. What is your theory on the Mist NK?

I know that I'm not the one you were asking, but Mist was suspicious of you (jim) and Cliquey. If either of you were mafia, it would make sense to kill her so she isn't around to do it today. That's the only reason I can see for it.

Question at all players: If you were mafia, who would've been your top NK N1 choice and why?

If I was mafia I'd shot cliquey and then claimed cop with a guilty on me. Everyone would of believed it.

I suspect Cliquey survived the night because he was under suspicion (assuming he didn't survive the night for being scum). It doesn't make sense to NK someone that you can get the town to lynch for you.

What is the point of asking who the top NK N1 choice would be? I think this is jimfinn trying to deflect suspicion elsewhere.

I think town benefits from trying to get in the mafia's head, and no I doubt anyone would say black mist as scum, since that would be a bad scumslip. Think like the mafia to find the mafia. Suppose your partner were V/LA or something, who would you kill then?

Sorry if I'm asking a bad question, Doubtful, I just thought it might help.

I'm trying to get everyone to think like the mafia would have been thinking so we can predict their next move better. It's a really common thing most of the days are spent on when I play F2F, so I figured I'd try it here.

I'm not entirely sure. Nobody has been too suspicious of Parama yet, so either him or one of the two claimed cops.

In case anyone needs it, here is game theory as to why jim is confirmed scum:
Mafia wouldn't cc the claim because if they cced cop and the cop was lynched, they're be next in line.
PLUS, in the two setups that cop would be possible, one has no doctor, making the cop NKable, and the other has a roleblocker, rendering the cop useless.
So mafia have no reason to cc cop, thus Johannes is town here. And jim is lying scum who needs to be lynched.
L-1 eh? I'll drop the hammer once discussion has died down, I guess. Info = good stuff man.

Plus, there was the fast hammer yesterday, and the scummiest thing Johannes has done is a bit of lurking - which, as somebody said, is just as likely to be a power role as a mafia member.

I would like to think about who could be the second mafia member before we end Day 2. I am suspicious of Doubtful - I think that he realized how scummy jim's hammer made him look, and then tried to distance himself by leading the push against jim.

Well FMPOV the final scum has to be in this group:

Out of those 3, I'd probably eliminate Cliquey (hopefully not a fatal mistake) but out of Doubtful and smargaret I'm not sure :/
I'm probably going to reread soon and post some thoughts after that. Hopefully I can find the last scum during my reread.

Cliquey is worrying me. Skilled player who has not really stuck there neck out there at all! Screams of scum to me.

I am really leaning into a cliquey/jim team.

Cliquey knew jim was going to be lynched today (just like you or I did) so he told jim to claim cop in order to get a cc (or worse, some noob doc to claim) to get rid of him.


I just hope jim is maf so I can live another day.

Cliquey bothers me because Mist was killed. I'm not ready to eliminate him yet, but I'm more suspicious of Doubtful.

Moose: why would jim's alignment affect whether you live or die tonight?
