While we're waiting, I want to know why everyone had such a strong town read on Om, because personally I don't see it. I look forward to hearing from Jason when he's finished.Bulbazak is so town that everytime someone votes him Mastin coughs blood.- Nachomamma8, Maniacal Street Mafia

Where is this even coming from?
The post your questioning is this
In post 297, Om wrote:You mean town read?
She jumped in front of the wagon to maker her point about Joel from her own experience by saying''he looks noob town as I was in similar position''. She has enough experience to know how to keep distance from Joel if he was indeed her partner. I don't particularly agree with it and have Joel pegged as scum & taking strong stance is usually indicative of good town motives. By that accord; she is likely town then scum.
Also, FYI; as far as scum-hunting goes, you both have done pretty much same amount. Same as most of the players atm as far as I can see, so that's not exactly a argument indicative of alingment.
How is this scummy by any working?
Even working off flips this is him referencing Joel as scum and AA9 as town (and look she is)

Bulba, why do you continue to ask me the same useless questions?
Let's say I actually thought that the game was bastard and chamber wasn't confirmed.
Do you think I'm ACTUALLY going to get a wagon on him?
FFS.
Unvote, Vote: Bulba
He's trying to get a wagon on me and save his ass and it's fucking obvious.

This is null stupid no matter what Bulb's alignment is.
How is this null/stupid?
Repeat questioning either shows someone isn't reading, or they are trying to get an answer that suits them that they can jump on, at this point i can see bulb doing the latter

There are other possibilities (including the very obvious one that I'm ascribing to), but I want to see Bulb defend himself before I say anything regarding that.

Actually, nevermind, I just reread again and realized he's already said what he needed to say.
The very obvious explanation is that Bulb is personally frustrated by a continued derp move from Hiraki. Sometimes, there's just these little things that most people will ignore, but that someone, somewhere, will focus in on a little more. I think that's what's happening here.
I mean, Hiraki's Chamber pizzazz is pretty much the same thing as his case on me: pretty superficially stupid, but ultimately it doesn't hurt anything because it's not really serious. Sometimes, though, these kind of things bug people.ALMOST ALWAYS BUSY 9-6 CST WEEKDAYS-

I largely ignored Hiraki's posts on Chamber, because I thought Cryo was handling the matter well and that it would be out of his system d1. I did have a hard time following Hiraki's responses to Cryo though, but there were bigger fish to fry, and I didn't think he was scum. It does bother me that he's kept on this, and I would like a straight answer from him for once in this game.

I don't like this at all. The problem was that Om was positive that AA9 was town when no one else was. The reasons he provided did not stand up to scrutiny, as Morning demonstrated in her response to him. It feels like he knows she is town and Joel is scum, and is using that knowledge to try to gain town cred once that flip happens. Jason's post shows the same tendency. He makes sure to add the fact that AA9 flipped town in parentheses, as if to say, "Hey, my slot called it right. See. Town.". Again, he's going for the town cred. Not only this, but there was also that entire Om/SK interaction that screams scum to me.

So this assumes that you thought I was serious, even though I said I was never serious.Bulba wrote:because I thought Cryo was handling the matter well and that it would be out of his system d1.
You're fucking dead.Bulba wrote:and I would like a straight answer from him for once in this game.
Look--I amreallysure that Bulba has to be an experienced trying to make it out that he's not experienced.
Here's an RVS example:
Basically, Bulba had used a strawman here--it's obvious. He thinks that the only way Cryo can vote him is if they call him scum
on page 2
Another example. Bulba gives a crappy answer later that he doesn't realize it's rhetorical but really? In post 60, Bulbazak wrote:In post 38, PeregrineV wrote:
Are you scum?
Do you seriously expect anyone to answer that?
Really?
Meanwhile this is the guy has said some of the most logical things in the game:
In post 232, Bulbazak wrote:How is voting badly scummy? Scum will make bad votes or votes that they know are not true, but that doesn't mean ALL bad votes are scummy. I've seen many town players make what would be considered bad votes, simply because they believed in what they were saying at the time. I've also seen town players with a bad vote or reason to vote actually hit scum. Bad votes by themselves ARE NOT inherently scummy. This is an example of the HBA fallacy.
What's your read on Gorgon?
I'll need to help out in SuperstormFindingNemo but when I come back, expect terror.

Ascalon was the name of St. George’s sword which he used to slay the dragon, and he did not have sex with the princess of Silene. That would be blasphemy. But he did manage to convert fifteen thousand men to Christianity, so that’s essentially the same thing.

Getting to this today. Have notes at my computer, which I'm not at but Hiraki was who I thought was most likely to be scum with Joel based on association.
Short post short is it wasn't Hiraki defending Joel insomuch as he thought Joel was Town but it was the "look GUYZ he's OBVNUBZ" crap. How many people long for that "past, simpler, and better world," I wonder,
without ever recognizing the truth that perhaps it was they who were simpler and better,
and not the world about them?-

Spoiler:
In other news: DB/Konowa is Scummy McScumertin from Scumtown. Our previous reasons pointing DB did and still do apply and this avoiding prod post from Konowa isn't any better than the gems DB gave us.
In other-other news, Bulbs posts are looking more town than we'd thought them capable. One thing that still bothers us is what is bothering most everyone else on the wagon so it seems and that is:
In post 65, joelsdaman1 wrote:This vote is not a response to being voted for by the way. It's a response to the "finger of suspicion", the scummiest move in the game.
This gem from joel came 4 posts after Bulb's fos and 2 after SK's. Yup, that's right folks, joel "missed" Bulb's fos, "the scummiest move in the game" to jump on SK within 6 posts. This tells us 2 things: one, Joel was avoiding association with Bulb after his RVS vote (after which he called bulb town so many times we puked), and that SK wasn't partnered with joel.
Speaking of SK, we don't like Hiraki. His posts are pretty awful (read: scummy as hell) and if he thinks his posts are going to convince anyone to agree, much less follow, him into voting one of his "suspect", he's got another think coming.I'm not a man of too many faces

...what the hell? At first I thought it was spelled "CryoNudist", and then later I looked at it and I read "CyroNudist" so I've changed my spelling, and now I look at it again and it reads "CryoNudist". Maybe I need to start taking drugs.

That thing Cryo mentioned was the only reason I still had my vote on him, anyway (hell, it was theonlyreason I voted for him). It still makes me edgy, but otherwise Bulb has been feeling pretty darn town to me. On the other hand, your case on him is just asinine.

120 is why Hiraki is scum. As I said earlier all of the "GUYZ GUYZ he's noobz" is such a soft defense without actually having to take a stance on his alignment, then repeated "joel wagon is bad" later on D1, again no stance on actual alignment is scum behavior.
Don't think Hiraki and bulb are scum together. Not so sure how quickly Hiraki would bus remaining buddy on D2.
