Ok, so I don't think we can trust Zekrom unless he makes it really clear he is going to do as we say. The only reason I see for keeping him alive is so he can fire that shot, but as I said, I don't trust him.

Also, my town read on Gooner has gotten stronger.

Fish, your questions that you quoted for UT are asking for him to explain Zekroms actions, even if he is scum how do you expect him to explain them? These are questions only Zekrom (unlikely) will be able to answer. Your other question, was answered by him.

There are good reasons for your lynch.

I believe that almost all the other votes either commented on or before the initial vote, or at least were around and posting and active during the time they voted, you were not, you came in and voted without an acknowledgement why.

Your reaction was very OTT, a bit of AtE and full of WIFOM and all the other acronyms you can think of.

Overall, your not providing any sort of reasoning with your reads, so it looks like you are pulling them out of your ass.

I'm not exactly asking UT to explain Z's actions, just looking for his opinion on why Z singled him out to help stop the bleeding. He might not have a good answer, but he is white knighting the shit out of him right now so I would expect him to have something to say on the matter. Ythan voted in much the same manor I did, unless you consider him asking for thoughts as a valid argument. I agree my reaction may have been over the top a bit, disagree it was full of appeal to emotion, and wifom is the name of the game brother. We are on day 1, our information is going to be limited and anything is possible at this point. I know how I am aligned, and can only guess how others are at the moment. As far as my reads, most are based off gut from my first (attempted) read through. If you would like me to explain any of them in particular I would be more than happy to try.

I don't really agree that his emotions are genuine, but even if they are, why does that make him town? Caught scum can have genuine emotions of being afraid of their lynch or angry they're in the spotlight.

Formerfish looks scummy pre-fake-dayvig, and looks null post-fake-dayvig, so that balances out to looking scummy. For what it's worth, Fish's belligerence in Post 575 matches his belligerence in Post 217. This only shows that he is consistently belligerence, which is not really indicative of town or scum, though apparently it's different than his normal play style (see EPM's final line in Post 219).

I'm lazy and don't have the willpower to expand my justifications for my Tripod vote. Plus I really haven't processed Tripod play in the slog that is everything that was posted between yesterday and today. So I'm going to instead VOTE: DeathNote for reasons stated in Post 464. His play since that post doesn't dissuade my suspicions and in some instances actually reconfirms his scumminess. I will address a Tripod vote tomorrow.

EPM has experience with me in one game, the one we can't discuss yet. I don't think that he has the ability to tell you what is normal from my play and what isn't. If you want an example of town belligerence ask marquis about We the Purple.

Mollie is reading me as town, and is buddying me. I do not think she would buddy me as scum, because I think I would be able to see the forced nature of it. If we were both scum she wouldn't do it because that just isn't her style. She could be scum, but I don't think she is. I think I lost myself in your quoted post of mine.

On DeathNote

I didn't at the time, but now I can see that his 60 vote doesn't make sense. He was making a big deal out of posts that were not serious. At the time I agreed with him because I was used to newbie games were things get serious quicker. I don't think this is a scum tell though.

I think he got to chastised for 61. Just because he asks someone else's opinion on something doesn't mean he isn't going to formulate his own opinion as well. I don't really see the problem.

He does ok, I guess, for some time. But, as others have pointed out, 411 is a bad post. I don't like that he just "loses interest" in what seemed to be his biggest scum read. 503 as well. Forgetting one's reads doesn't seem like some town does. Town is more attached to their reads because they are their actual opinions. Scum manufactures their reads and would be more likely to forget what they are.

After that he doesn't do quite as well, but I could his behavior coming from dissatisfied town. I have a maybe scum read on him. I would like him to do a bit more active scum hunting.
