Mala, Marquis and I just got done with a game where scum faked a vig role and claimed the nk.

You don't see a scenario where Z is cuffed his target isn't killed and he claimes to have have been blocked, redirected, jailed or any amount of other actions that could alter what he was supposed to do? Or fuck, you guys give him a pool to choose from and he picks town and there isn't another kill. Guess there was a save, block or maybe scum targeted the same person.

His claim is in no way 100% verifiable.

Ok, you didn't. You said it could be tested. To me tested means that you can figure out one way or the other what his alignment is. I'm saying that any test would be inconclusive because there are too many unknown variables out there.

The more I think about Fish's claim the more I'm open to the possibility that it's from really frustrated town. Therefore, I have an alternate suggestion:

- let's lynch someone else today (my pick would be DeathNote)
- we pick a kill for zekrom
- fish, if he's telling the truth, protects zekrom

I feel like scum, if they're not dumb and fish is town, have to kill fish tonight if he's alive. this would allow zekrom's kill to go through and we'd have two kills. we could leave zekrom alone for the time being. I'm not going to talk through what all the possibilities would mean because I don't want to do scum's thinking for them, but I think this might be optimal play?

PEdit: no one said Zekrom has a 100% verifiable role. we're just trying to optimize our play here in case his claim is true.

I don't really think it is that confirmable either but only because we don't know what roles there are.

Fish just claimed a doctor, if he is town then that means his role is 1 of many that could prevent a vig shot. If both a vig and a doc are in this game as town, I wouldn't be surprised to see a roleblocker.

Keeping people alive to "test" their abilities just leads to a mountain of wifom.

Yeah, I'm not buying fish's claim. Seems to me like a hasty road block to stave off his impending lynch.

I am, however perfectly happy with UT's test circle. The WIFOM is not insurmountable, and either way it limits scum options.

I'm gonna finish reading then put together a reads list and a list of who I've played with before.

1) UT is playing for a double mislynch? I can see it happening, although Im not altogether sold on scummy UT.

You can all fuck straight the fuck off. This is clearly not my scum game. Do you think that as scum I would be this blatantly scummy? I am unfamiliar with most of this player list, and have no basis for reads. I am going off of the things that some people I do know are saying and reads they are making. The thing that set me off was Z asking someone else to help get the heat off of him. UT why would he be asking you to get heat off of him? How could you even do this at the point in the game we are at, you guys aren't masons.

One-shot vig? Fucking shitty scum fake claim. I do like the way he threw in the word town there though, guess he was worried we might mistake that for a straight out scum claim. So what happens when we don't have a two kill night? You claim to be blocked, or you take credit for a kill and hypothesize that there must have been a block on scum or a protect on town? Good luck with that shit if you guys mislynch me.

Something I did deliberately? Why yes, I do think people are aware of the votes they make when they type out the VOTE: tag for everyone and their moderator of choice to see it.

Coasting? No, coasting would be making a single RVS post and letting attention pass them by, like Matias, who's not posted since despite being active in general.

The sarcastic tone of mislynching? Is this some new sort of scum meta? Because I wasn't aware that sarcasm was a God-given right for scum and scum alone.

Forced scum play? I'm wounded. Perhaps to confirm myself as town, I should lurk excessively and instead of getting called out for posting, get called out later on for "no original content".
