I didn't want to just end the day arbitrarily, I just didn't want to give scum exactly who they should kill tonight, which means either:

A) we say nothing and make it really fuzzy
B) we put all our cards on the table and overwhelm with information

I didn't end the day earlier since a couple people already expressed interest in keeping discussion going. I don't know for certain which way is better but I don't want everyone to be like "we all think XXX is town!" and then have scum kill them and be like "well, now what?"

Perhaps I just don't have the benefit of experiencing fuzzy's claim when it was delivered. I'm trying to look at it from a "hey, if I'm scum and my partner just killed himself with his conflicting claim, how do I help make sure that my partner isn't the one who's lynched today?"

The thought process behind 229 is one of town trying to rationally solve the game. It's certainly possible for scum to write it, if yolo's her partner she's saying "I think fuzzy is scum, and if not we can just lynch yolo." She's saying that yolo's not scum because this would be a silly play for him to do.

Now that I think about it, this is the logical conclusion, and it's more obvious when you know this is going to happen. I think now it's certainly possible that Lissa, knowing she has to bus her partner, has to start wrapping her head around that while also making sure that yolo isn't the one lynched. In that scenario, then that logic comes to mind and she can use the WIFOM to protect her partner and point out the logic behind lynching yolo afterward.

I thought it was ballsy because if she's scum she's laying out her plan and lying hard about her affiliation with yolo.

The phrasing here is awkward. He shouldn't need permission to question Lissa. It suggests he feels self-conscious about it.

Edos sheeps the flipped scum, then changes his vote after a few posts with no apparent serious reason. I feel like it could be an attempt to avoid being noticed on the same wagon as his scumbuddy. But I feel like I could be reading way too much into a friendly joke.

X88 (Dragons slot) comes in and votes the flipped scum when there are three wagons on townies. If they are scumbuddies, it's odd that X88 did something that could draw attention to his scumbuddy unnecessarily. Though if they'd already decided at that point that he was eventually going to make the counterclaim move he did, it's possible.

Something I can't put my finger on that just feels fake.

I have a problem with this - not the post, the feeling fake thing. It's something that I'm feeling myself, mainly because I think that I'm trying really hard to fit in. This is a lot different than what I'm used to seeing, so it's a really big shift for me.

What I see is a lot of Edos trying to interact with Yolo but very little/none of Yolo responding directly. Yolo is somewhat new; perhaps he had a difficult time interacting with his scumbuddy inthread? I'm pretty sure I had some issues with that my first couple of scumgames.

Rotten didn't say anything substantial about Yolo in his replace-in post, aside from "I like Yoloswag", but I don't think it's too notable - looking at my own catchup, I didn't comment with specifics on everyone either.

I'm still a bit unnerved by how Edos started Day 3. Yes, I followed his vote, but the way he offered it made me think handling it like that was the done thing. When Farside disagreed, I unvoted to allow discussion because I thought it made sense.
