Voting is the standard strategy to get inactives to post, but I think it's sort of lame and doesn't work.
But our disagreement on that point isn't very important I think.

doing that is bad though. If you speak for them they cant speak for them, meaning that we won't actually get any information (ie reactions) that we can use.

But I like it. You can do that sometimes to get reactions from the attacker, the defended, and other players. That also in no way prevents the player in question from responding, and puts more info out there.
