If you are town why do you want the cop to investigate you?
It is a useless thing to say cause not only will he waste the night when he could be founding mafia but even confirming you is useless cause everyone will kbow of the confirm too early and nk you anyway.
I honestly can't see a town reason behind that which tbh just reinforces my assumption that you might be sk cause it is kinda too risky as mafia

I've been townreading Titus, but this used to be a Godfather tell back when it was assumed that most games had a Godfather who was Investigation-Immune. So it makes sense that it would be a SK tell here. Then again, when I was new, I committed this tell as town so it could just be town who doesn't want to get lynched and knows they can be mostly cleared that way. *shrug*.
