Because I went to bed early with a headache and just woke up, at now, 7:15 this morning on a Saturday. I'm reading and catching up in Notepad, but figured I'd address this because it feels odd.

So Iec just didn't read and placed a vote because he saw my name next his in the vote count, which really is just an RVS vote for the fact that I haven't played with him since before my hiatus. Wowza, Iec. I don't remember you going OMGUS on RVS votes before. This is kinda weird.


I'll give my two cents on Spiffeh. The straight out the gate thing that I'm automatically scum based on my RVS vote is bogus, as is DGB's. I figured it was a joke, but I replied to both anyways. It's pretty weird that Ythan had to hop in there and say "why would you acknowledge a joke?" when that's followed up by Spiffeh saying that he already thinks that I'm scummy after two posts in the game. I've ended up in a lot of games with Spiffeh since I came back. A few that have ended and a few ongoing still, but I don't think he's known me long enough to get a read off of two posts with one containing an RVS vote. So why am I scum already?


Then as soon as I finish writing the above, I, then, find this....

Ok I just tried to make something out of the ISO's of MattP and Nacho but they are firmly in my null pile.

1. Since when is not contributing to an RVS wagon considered scummy? Has that much changed? Because the point of RVS is to randomly vote. To jump on a wagon would mean that it's not a random vote, so I don't see how it's scummy to just randomly vote for someone. Unless you didn't like who I voted for as my RVS vote, that's the only thing that would make sense here.

2. You misrepresented me when you said that I opted to not weigh in on things. I was weighing in on things, but apparently not the things that you wanted me to weigh in on. So, again, why not ask me what my thoughts were rather that misrepresent me as "opting not to weigh in on things?" All you ever have to do is ask and I'll answer. I fucking hate assumptions.

3. You're tunneling me because since the moment of your first game post - you called me scum (which from your statement above is on absolute crap reasoning), then you ask where I was, and then follow it up with a vote 22 minutes later. Blind/naked votes are used by people of either alignment. They suck because they lack information, but they aren't indicative of scum by themselves. In the grander scheme of things, like a case or a pattern of scummy behavior, they most definitely can be indicative when looking at the overall play of someone.

In all actuality, I do like to call out blind votes as scummy behavior because I am in full belief that town members would want to bring their insight to the table for the rest of us townies to see what they are seeing. So whether that puts a boot in the ass of someone to go further into why they think someone is scum, thus a positive reaction, or make them react adversely/overdefensively (where that reaction could be indicative of scum), it's a reactionary ploy that I lean on probably a little more than I should.

Agreed. However, given my lack of availability this weekend, I would think some common courtesy could/would be given because no one has even tried to ask me anything in the first place. Like I look through to see if any questions are directed towards me and there's nada. Everyone is making statements rather than asking questions, it's pretty awful in that way. Maybe that's the newer school way of doing things. I'm not sure, but it's kinda shitty to watch assumptions being made, rather than actual investigation. I do feel that Spiffeh is really fucking weird this game with how much he's calling for my death. I've played quite a bit with Spiffeh over the past month or so of being back. I've seen a power like hers more often in those games because each real day = one game day. I think it makes sense for a role like hers in a Blitz game. It could definitely be fake, though.

Giving town the ability to save one of them makes sense in a scum/town pairing since it rewards town for good reads and rewards scum for good play. It makes less sense in a town/town pairing depending on what Syryana's restrictions are but could also be in order to make town think of the first scenario.

Katsuki could have also failed to figure out that particular interaction because he's Katsuki and let it slide because that was the fairest thing to do based on what he told Syryana his role was.

This is only my second game with mollie (the other is ongoing). I can't really state my feelings on her due to that, but this game, where Spiffeh has been more aggressive, she has been way less so. I don't really know what to think of that.

I can see your point the town/scum lover pairing, but I don't trust Syryana at all. I didn't like how he came onto my wagon and misrepresented pretty much everything that I said to further his point and I don't like his consistent push now. It really feels like he's riding Spiffeh's coat tails.

If mollie and I are lovers and Iece flips as an unrequited lover, I would think you'd want to know what the word means before you start throwing out the possibility of two pairs of lovers. I think that's highly unlikely given the size of this game.

However, given that dave's role was "A Bunch of Cute, Fluffy Animals" and Iece's role was that of "A Mini Goat." That it worked in almost a reverse vengeful townie way, but instead of the vengeful choosing who dies Iece was already slated to die if Dave died. However, if Iece died then Dave wouldn't die. I would think it's similar to a One-Directional Lover.

1. Spiffeh's initial post on the matter, in #1553 is suspect because he casually mentions how he thinks dave is posturing for my town flip, but doesn't vote it until the hammer.


2. Matt's sheeping of Spiffeh's words in 1555 and 1556, without Spiffeh's vote, isn't cool. Although, his uncertainty makes me feel better about him despite his belief of Syryana. Howver, I do find him a bit disingenous in 1614 when he says that "as soon as I pushed Dave everyone flipped over. It makes me feel like its recipe for a mislynch." Spiffeh was the one who started the path onto dave. Matt just sheeped. He didn't push anything.

3. Your jump is pretty terribad based off of Dave saying "You try pushing people while being cute and fluffy at the same time" is horrid, given it was obvious that he had a posting restriction. I don't understand how the claim should factor into anything at this point. There is a pair of unrequited lovers flipped. Lovers is not a town claim or primarily town claim.
