Nada. Bulge didn't react to the wagon. Like, at all. I'm getting a slight scumlean on that because I'm leaning towards that being her avoiding saying anything to avoid bringing negative attention to herself.it's anti-town. Like I said, anti-town is pro-scum because only scum benefit from it. Bulge divulged nothing. This doesn't mean that Bulge isn't scum, but it doesn't mean he's town either.
Again, not reckless. Reckless would be "HUR DUR IM GONNA VOTE BULGE WITHOUT PAYING ATTENTION TO THE NUMBER OF VOTES". I think every player in this game is competent enough to actually pay attention to the votes enough to not vote when it would be bad.Like I said, it was a reckless bandwagon,
So... the reckless ones were the one that voted for a reason? Rather than the ones that voted for a laugh? This seems backwards.and I'm only considering reckless those who engaged in the bandwagon because they thought it would do something useful - namely, you.
I mean, two is the entire scumteam, so scum aren't gonna quickhammer two votes. Again, you're borderline insulting the skill of people in this game by assuming that they're stupid enough to just let that get lynched, when paying any sort of attention to what happened would pretty obviously display that is not true. And yes, nearly lynched. They needed only two people. In a game with a larger number, two isn't a lot.-

Maybe it's because he didn't think he'd be lynched for nothing at the beginning of day one. I'd say it's null.

You knew that he was L-3 before your vote. Did you not think, after you made him L-2, that he could never possibly be lynched? It's just impossible? If you are honestly so content with yourself for thinking that, then you're conceding the effectiveness of this strategy because the person being bandwagonned would think someone would simply let go eventually.
I mean, two is the entire scumteam, so scum aren't gonna quickhammer two votes. You're assuming only scum would do something stupid like this. You know it takes more than scum to lynch right? And town aren't 100% right, or else Mafia would be a boring game to play.-

All I want you to do is back up the points you made about T-Bone with links to specific posts of his that you think prove it. You did it perfectly well in the link below so I know you're capable of it as town.
You said the word "jargon" instead. I just find it weird that you would describe it that way when I simply said what I saw. And then T-bone's incredulous reaction made me think it might have become a phrase people used.
It seemed silly to link things when he had a short iso of 5 posts, but I'll amuse you because for some reason I do that now. Look at #151 and note the words "serious" and "real" (it also ignores #149). #308 (and his more recent set-up-related posting) fits into the classic "scum being helpful"-mold.

The wagon on you. Your vote on Bulge was too, actually, but that's not what I was saying.
In post 349, Gorkington wrote:@cogito, just wondering what, in your eyes, is separating your play from t-bone's?
I wouldn't say I've been lurking for one. And I've been wagonning, which pro-town but is not generally perceived as such. I don't think there's really any meaningful similarity.Scumchat is awesome. Yarr!

basically this point [in my head at least] applies equally to you [and to an extent me]. if youre hunting based on people acting protown, how do you distinguish t-bone's play from someone town who is playing overly protown? or is it a combination of lurkiness/attempts to look protown? also can you give an update on your read on t-bone with his latest comments? In post 318, Cogito Ergo Sum wrote:b) that scum's win condition this game is to not be anyone's top suspect?-

Firstly, I do think there is a difference between acting pro-town and attempting to look pro-town (although town do also have some motivation for the latter in most games). But it was specifically the combination that stood out because it is harder to look pro-town as scum when you post a lot.
I did already sort of comment on T-bone's more recent posting - his musings on the set-up are helpful but being helpful in a way that doesn't involve scumhunting is a classic move (presumably it's not actually that helpful if heisscum but I guess this is just similar but distinct from the acting pro-town/attempting to look pro-town). I liked the explanation for the Kuroivote at first although I don't like it that much in the full context of the game.Scumchat is awesome. Yarr!

Thanks. I am. I really want to give my detailed post the attention it deserves but I'm waiting until work slows down where I can concentrate. Of all my flaws in Mafia, one of my greatest flaws is that I have averyhard time regaining my train of thought once it's lost. Call it a learning disability. Call it me being a fucking idiot, but this is how I operate, especially in a game where if I try to rush something, I find that it comes out the wrong way and it tends to get me lynched.-
