There's some stuff in your iso like in 373. Looking back, you didn't specify tonight--still, why are you so emphatic that you're dead?In post 526, Ranger wrote:

But in my experience, my rate of mortality is directly correlated to my rate of annoyance to the scum. So it really depends on just how annoying I am to them.-

I'm satisfied with Jae and Ranger's responses: not satisfied with LQ's he should have pegged me for the poorly defended town-read on him.-

Will try to catch up in the next coupe daysAlso, what is NM doing? Worst play I’ve ever seen.I can't remember the last N_M post that wasn't bland, unimaginative and lame. Some shitposters are at least somewhat funny. You are the epitomy of the type of poster that nobody would miss if you were to suddenly disappear. You never add anything of value.I'm guessing you haven't read the game and probably never will? Why even sign up to play?-

Ranger seems a bit different here to games we've played in where she was Town, or where I think she is Town. Not sure yet, but this is some of what is standing out to me a bit...
I don't remember Ranger making this kind of coded "I am Town" statement before. Seems to be laying the groundwork for why she might survive N1 as scum.In post 371, Ranger wrote:JaeReed wrote: (and it has to be tonight because I am sure she is dying tonight regardless of alignment).Well, I am gonna die tonightsince there's no town doctor, but devil's advocate, the only way I'd die N1 as scum is if we lynched my faction's doctor or if I was in fact my faction's doctor.
But this is true enough. Last multiball game, I nailed both scum and for my trouble ate the N1 nightkill as scum.
The story has changed a bit. Now she is predicting she will die by the end of the game, not N1...In post 373, Ranger wrote:
It's multiball.Kuroi wrote:Ranger's posts have been completely null to me.
Multiball.
You don't need to read me.
Like, at all.
I'm dead.
Like, no matter what,I'm a corpse before the end of the game.
It is not like Ranger to "forget" something she has said fairly emphatically...In post 526, Ranger wrote:pistachi0n wrote:Are you still convinced you're going to die tonight?I don't recall saying I would.

By my calculation, your average NK death is on night 2.05. Do you keep statistics for multiball specifically?
Evasive answer. Sure, it was a topic in the thread, and something valid to talk about. But why not answer the question? In post 561, Ranger wrote:

And yes, Jae seems to have been the first to raise the topic afaics, so there's that - but what was the point of pointing that out?
Not a lot, but enough to raise doubts in my mind about Ranger's Towniness. I need to finish doing my own reads before I make an assessment of hers. I have found that, when we are both Town, are reads line up to a large degree. However, I expect that to happen when I am Town and Ranger is scum, but with an anomaly or two (someone I scumread getting a high tier from Ranger, or someone I Townread getting a low tier). o far I haven't spotted anything really obvious, but I'll be in a better position to assess that when I've completed my reads and reread LQ.-

So her protege, who herself admits a lack of competence, makes a worshipful comment (Ranger is so mega-awesome that scum always kills her at the first opportunity), and Town!Ranger runs with it as gospel? In post 564, Chip Butty wrote:

Why wouldn't she point out games where she didn't die n1 to dispel the notion and reduce the threatening nature of her play to scum if she was town? Wouldn't that increase her odds of impacting the game more than saying "You best kill me or I'm gonna gotcha!"?
This could easily be seen as drawing the night kill from the other faction (and being protected by the doc) in order to minimize losing a member of her own team.-

Are you saying you really weren't aware there are no Town Docs in this game? It just seems odd that you wouldn't comment on that when you are quoting from the wiki about how Docs work.-

I typically enjoy trying to figure out the setup more than having concrete roles. There are exceptions, but it's generally because they have interesting mechanics.-

Yep, and you paying the setup doesn't change the fact that I didn't bother reading it before i responded to the faulty assumption about doctors. In post 568, Chip Butty wrote:

And your vote is disingenuous, because you'd have done the same thing if I said I did know what the setup was, having caught me in a lie.

The ranger getting killed tonight is a huge WIFOM. Since it's multi-ball, as it looks more obvious she will get killed tonight it actually becomes less likely- because each scum team assumes the other will take the kill.
Basically, she will probably get killed night 1 or 2, maybe night 3. She might be scum or town, it doesn't really change these chances significantly, except that as scum she might have a doctor's protection. Really the whole thing is a waste of time to argue about, because it's NAI in this game.-

So what is it? Disingenuity or confbias? The first implies I am scum, the second that I am Town. So, which way do you want to go with that?In post 572, House wrote:And your vote is disingenuous, because you'd have done the same thing if I said I did know what the setup was, having caught me in a lie.
Confbias moar.
Here, I'll answer for you: neither.
It's not disingenuous, because you dug the hole you've now jumped into further back, when you first denied knowledge of their being a Town Doc in this setup. If you had said something back then like "I knew there was no Town Doc, but I didn't see any need to mention that, because I made the ENTIRELY REASONABLE ASSUMPTION that everyone would have read the HIGHLY PROMINENT LIST OF ROLES in #2", I would have been satisfied and backed off.
And it's not conbias, because where have I been saying "Oh I am sure House is scum?" That's an accusation that gets trotted out far too frequently.
