Also, there's definitely a difference between people who are hydraing because they want to involve more people in the game who otherwise couldn't play, and someone who's doing so essentially out of spite.

I agree...I think its fair that the other 3 head hydra, but cerb is as active as I am. In a 3 head hydra he wont have any downtime at all. If its someone like Toog that hydras, totally fine...but someone as active as cerb and drixx, thats like playing against an entire team, not one slot. I need a team to compete against a team.

He's doing it solely because others were allowed it. Spites the wrong word though, but his motives are DEFINITELY different from tht of Drixx and myself. He wants to do it for an imagined mechanical advantage...we want to do it because we want Bins to experience this game and she otherwise wouldn't have.

If people with less time want to hydra, again, I'm fine with that. But I think a slot can become too dominant, with no blind spots, no time to catch them off guard, no way to slip a quicklynch past them, if its a bunch of highly active players who can cover for each other in shifts and organize schedules to have nearly 100% thread coverage.
