You've been reading too much MD.
Not the healthiest habit.

Lurkers are difficult to read.
Not impossible to read.

You'll note that I, in particular, have a rather distinct scumread on Xkfyu, a lurker.
If you can't read lurkers, that's a fault in YOUR ability. Not theirs. Learn to fix it.
Town players are under no obligation to make themselves look town. I mean, ideally, they should be trying to find scum, and some of the lurkers really aren't doing much of that, that makes them bad players, yes, but lynching them would be nothing except policy lynching.
Rather than actual scumhunting.

I can tell you why I think McMenno is town in particular, even though that's a read I'm not sure of. I'd prefer not to, but it'd be an example of why you can read the actions of lurkers.

Trust me. Seriously, trust me. I have ROLE-based secret weapons beyond the miller-masonry, too. I know what I'm doing, here. This is a combination of role and play-based reasons. Not Chara will not get away if scum. But I want a guaranteed scum lynch, and right now, I'm actually more certain that SirCakez is scum than I am Not Chara is. There's still like an 85% chance Not Chara's scum, but that's about comparable to Xkfyu, whereas RR's sitting at 90% and SirCakez at 95%, the highest I'll go without role-based reasons.
