is the mod's colour-of-truth: anything written in this colour is guaranteed to be true. I added this to the game as to avoid possible confusion, the game will be full of craziness and it's best to be safe rather than sorry. Earlier game's in this series didn't have this feature, however mainly the mix-up with someone breaking a post-restriction thinking it was false lead to this decision being made. (Although I also learned post-restrictions are usually meh and get abused, but at times can be very entertaining if done right.)

Are you familiar with Bloodborne? Scum had a one person controlling two votes directly and this able to lynch solo after Varsoon said such a thing was impossible.

Your concern is understandable but your logic is flawed as you can't judge something based on one example; especially when its not even in this moderator's meta. I'm pretty sure this mod won't make the game unwinnable for any alignments, like the way you described, even if its bastard at this rate.

I'd refrain from voting the IC. I agree the confirm town message by the mod is suspicious, but lynching him probably won't help the town. In the first game of this series the IC was a Jester, and in the second it was a Lyncher target.

Yes I agree that its a useful fact for him to say that his role PM says he's double hated, and I don't find that scummy. I feel that if his thought processes were real then he should say something like "My role PM says I'm double hated" instead.
