That's the information Voice of the counsel received from the mod.

Sometime between #594 and VC 1.6. "Shos used The counsel vote" again. and in VC 1.6 the vote was on shos himself.

The only logically possible lie in this might be the name of "shos" and nothing else. Someone has that vote utility and that someone is scummy because of keeping this hidden. Again we do believe shos is the real one and there is no lie involved in those results.

What I'm asking is why shos's voted triggered his "hidden Counsel vote" while SC's did not. Your theory falls apart there. Not like it was stable to begin with.

It's not confirmable that nothing happened to SC's vote. It could just be that something different happened to his vote and we haven't seen it yet. (Iirc, different things happened to different people's votes--is that correct?)

- Everything Is A Lie is mostly the premise, so I'd understand players being incentivized to lie for gambits, even town.
- I won't say I did what I did just to go kneejerk-opposite to farside's direction, but I play how I play; no matter what my replacement did or did not.

the source of the misinformation in this game is the moderator. why would any player have incentive to make an obvious, blatant lie? like, let's say farside22 received a role PM that said "you're a dayvig" and The MM received a role PM that said anything besides that—this would explain the discrepancy, but it's not a scum tell for either of them. if anything, I think scum-MM would have greater incentive to continue claiming to be a dayvig just to stand out less.
