When someone does something in a recent game and then try to argue it to be a point in their favour in this game it gives me all types of red herrings. In post 1457, Not Chara wrote:Almost: do you think it's possible gerry just didn't read the rules properly? he was certainly a lot more nonchalant about doing so in Inception (even when getting heat for it) than he has been here.
For one thing: Being aware of your own meta makes it NAI at best.
For a second thing: gerry was SCUM in Inception. How does doing the same things he did there make him Town here?
And for a third: Inception was a one-game sample. For me to consider anything anyone does to be the norm of him I need to play with them for at least 3 games and -also- to see them as both alignments.
Like, I know SS lurking is NAI, but how do I know that? It is because I've seen SS lurk multiple times as either alignment. I've certainly played more than 5 (maybe even 10) games with SS before, so I'm aware of the fact he lurks regardless of his alignment.
So, with one game with gerry under my belt (where he was SCUM) I don't know if "not reading the rules" is his NAI meta or his scum meta, but it certainly can't be argued to be his "town" meta exclusively.
Considering it NAI though, I'm wondering why he is using it to promote his towniness. That doesn't bode well with me.
