He asked whether Gamma would self-hammer, then I asked why self-hammering is beneficial. There was a discussion on it. Me asking the question seemed to make him vote me for some reason. I don't know how you're missing that.

He didn't personally tell me to self-hammer but I assume he would have done. Also we did not have 24 hours left. I believe we had 10.

On the nightkill stuff, after flipping purple there's always gonna be this suspicion from town. Also sunken cost fallacy may be a fallacy but it's still a thing.

You're right-- there would've been about 9 hours left if the deadline was 48 hours as it should've been.
I think I got the 24 hour figure from when you were going back and forth with Fro99er on page 36--he said you had a lot of time and you said you had 24 hours less than the last day. I was recalling that as you saying 'we only had 24 hours until the end of the day/reveal phase'.

I've read over the hammer discussion a lot. The only town reason I can see for self-hammering was based on time, but it still seems to fly in the face of where you were at the top of the page before you hammered yourself.

I do agree, though, if anyone on your wagon requires more scrutiny, it is very likely Aristophanes. They've been pretty transparent when asked questions before--no reason to believe they wouldn't now.
Otherwise, what are the 'good reasons' you are seeing for Bomber joining your color wagon?

But him hoping frog would flip on to you is not the same as him trying . I think scum actively pushes that to go through if they want to flip your colour that badly . He wasn't around to do that .
Bomber may have right reasons but you thought he was in a scum team with me . He flipped from me to you. Your POV that should be scummy or has your opinion changed on that regard .

It's equally plausible scum would just want to soft push people in the direction they were going yesterday so as not to attract attention.


And Bomber- eh. Me calling you and Bomber a scumteam was a massive stretch and I see that now. Bomber has been playing consistently with his posts and tone this whole time and I guess he's kind of townleany right now? I saw his vote on me as being because he considered me a possible scum and was curious as to what I'd flip anyway, and I was on L-2 close to deadline. I think scum would already be on wagon by that point.

I don't know what to make of the color flip to Purple. I see it as a distraction tbh. It doesn't tell us anything at this point.

I think the first vote should be looked at by Aristo, and I posted that quote with a few other things Aristo said that stands out to me.

I think your vote was legit and you gave a good reason. I think Frogger's vote and Max's vote need to be looked at. Frogger didn't give a reason for voting JJ that was credible to me, he didn't give one at all. Max sheeped him basically and has been since Day 2 started. I'm a bit suspicious of there buddying. Plus at the time Frogger voted, Gamma was in the vote lead and there was momentum on his wagon, Frogger and Max effectively killed that momentum.

Then bomberman jumps on stating it's an opurtunistic flip and JJ then self hammers.

My top scum read has been Gamma and I pushed for his color flip, got it to 4 before it was derailed. Since then Gamma has hardly posted and now states he only gets 3 hours per day to post.

What if mafia had to paint someone twice to turn them red? The first attempt with the red paint would paint them purple since that's a mix of the two colours and the second time would paint them completely red?

Yeah, I'm not. I'm actually a VT. I was mostly expecting me to be blue, but I'm not sure if it was the egocentric or realistic side of me expecting scum to have recoloured me red. Now I'm a mixture of both.

These posts dont follow imo, either you expected to be recoloured or you didnt, and this looks like fake surprise

Not really sure how I feel about this. It could be that Max is scum and trying to create sus of JJ after colouring him purple.

Purple was far more surprising than red or blue because I was blue and was expecting, if recoloured, to be red. I felt those were the only two realistic outcomes.

Could you outline again why you think I'm scum because I must have missed it.

JJ defended himself and asked Max to explain himself again but I never saw a follow up responce or an explanation from him.

Purple is a mixture of blue and red. I can understand why scum would colour me red, but not purple, and the only town role I can think of to do with painting would be a loyal one designed to recolour townspeople blue. So I feel this is a legitimate possibility.

Scum (if I understand the mechanics right) can paint themselves any colour but blue (probably). So it makes sense they would paint people purple or any other colour. We expect them to change their own colour so they don't flip red when colourflipped. Painting other people adds the question of if they are town or not, so we don't get a conftown flip.
