I feel bad for Vedith. His scumread on me was abject shit and I still feel like it was basically a policy vote but I get the impression he just knew he was never gonna get me lynched and gave up.

gah, I suck at this game sometimes. Vedith, I'm sorry for the misread
I thought Brie's play was off compared to my past games with her but she did a good job deflecting the things that were thrown at her. and as usual I can only read RC as scum when he's pushing on me . I need to get better at not getting suckered by people who townread me, it's a big blind spot for me
well played by scum. I'm pretty responsible for this loss so apologies to my fellow townies
"I think I no longer believe in monsters as faces in the floor or feral infants or vampires or whatever. I think at seventeen now I believe the only real monsters might be the type of liar where there's simply no way to tell. The ones who give nothing away"
I was considering early on in D2 forcing a Brie/King vote off after it was already clear that one scum was in S&C and RC, but didn't think I had enough time/towncred to really champion it. I think that would have been a better approach in hindsight

Vedith's vote was awful. He happened to be town, and right, and I think his Brie scumread may have been somewhat correct (although unless he specifically figured out my methodology and why I wouldn't be risking a mislynch on my partner I think that was just bad logic too: I very rarely never consider my partners for lynches, and haven't in any game Vedith has seen me in) but his play was bad and in a scummy way and he was never really getting me lynched.

Ah right, I forgot how the first one went. (Here it is, it was indeed a town win.) Both games came down to the typical close endgame that you'd expect from a balanced setup, though.
Grats to the scum team, was contemplating taking that Duck slot but ultimately decided it wasn't a game I wanted to commit too.

I'm not quite sure whether that actually means it
is
townsided, or whether it's just that everyone's sense of balance is off.
I too think the setup is townsided fwiw, that said I think if you were to do an actual study of the site in the last ~12 months or so you'll find scum are probably winning in excess of 60%, possibly even 65% of games overall mostly due to their own fault. Lots of bad play and lynches based on what I wouldn't even call 'reasoning' at all.
When you made up false meta on me RC, I knew you were scum. We both know that I kill you if you're town and I'm scum, and that push on how I play scum was terrible.
And as soon as I re read the game you and Brie were so obvious scum it hurt. As soon as I realised King and GL didn't want to re read the game there was no point from there.
