I am not sold on either though, and the NMSA wagon built too fast for my liking at this point. (I don't remember how fast Mastina's wagon went, but I still think the claim was townie).

Mastina's role has a pro town utility. I've been unsure if this makes her role town or if it's just as likely for scum to have it, as scum having the ability to counterplay (or just negate) the medium neighborhoods seems like something the scum team would have

I've largely been sitting on her with the super secret agenda of "nothing happens if we don't wagon people", as evidenced by the fact that exactly fuckall happened for two weeks until we started wagoning Mastina.

Well this was certainly a thing that happened.

@Ank, the setup was a good idea in need of tweaks, as you've noted. I don't think this need be abandoned altogether but tinkering with the setup would make for a better experience. Revealing the dead townies alignment to the medium makes sense if left at that, but unfortunately everyone is more interested in breaking games than playing them and so we got everyone with a spirit whining that they're confirmed town. This isn't your fault so much as the players, and I'm not a mod, so idk how to fix that. I was deeply annoyed by it though and would consider a dead player looking for out of game links and codes and trust tells to be outside influences. Again, not a mod, I'm not sure on the *legality* of it but it really felt like something that didn't belong in the game.

Maybe keep alignments hidden, but a potential role could be someone who knows the alignment of their spirit? Everyone else has a voice in their head they don't know if they can trust, but one player gets a treestump masonry?

Also I'm aware that your warning earlier about toxicity was 100% directed at me and no one else, and I'm sorry I made your game a shittier place to be for a bit.

Would YOU still be interested if you were turned into a Treestump? The idea -here- was for the dead player to still effort to try and get their reads through to the main thread.

I joined this game for the guarantee of being essentially a weaker tree stump upon death so...yes, I would have been happy being a normal tree stump and I don't understand what would make that less interesting than being a spirit or why having easier communication would make my experience worse.

If anything the mechanic is for the sake of the medium player, who gets essentially a hydra head.
