quite curious as the day's end draws near, a wagon begins to slowly coalesce on the innocent ydrasse despite formerly stated townreads... a curious incident indeed...

Ydrasse suspected camel but as far as I can tell, never voted there, pushed Titus for seemingly okay reasons, and is landing on me as a vote because they can’t rule me out as Scum (fair) and aren’t feeling imaginality (I have argued the same) or Dragons (I agree) Scum.

In a vacuum, from my perspective, Ydrasse could be Scum. Do I get that feeling when I read them? No? I’m having a tough time contrasting their enthusiasm to start the game given the structure, and the clear boredom they’ve alluded to throughout. So not sure what to make of that. They have expressed several views though - like I think they’ve consistently said that gob and Firebringer are Town (@Ydrasse, has anything changed?), and that they can’t read Prism.

my lack of engagement is my MO at this point for games which are the most fun to me in the first few hours because it's shiny and new and then after a while i feel bogged down by having to Explain Myself when my thoughts in my head are a lot more sensible than they are in words.

i think they are still town yes and i think prism is town as well. prism more town than them actually because of the camel push day 1, i considered for a long while if i should treat it like someone just pushing a vanity wagon without much chance of it to go through but i think there was enough intrigue for it that prism falls to town. firebringer's iso looks good to me wrt camel and gob has felt town for most of this game to me. i don't think i have words to explain the last one some people are just town even if the logic is sometimes not it.

Her voting history is super lacking and it's fair to say that any reasonable person would assume I wasn't just gonna up and vote Andres there because I had expressed no intention to do so

so it could plausibly have been a risky bus vote that she had to back off from because of my sudden appearance.

We don't actually see the results of not being confident enough to want Andres at E-1. May be worth a note that the two people who were potentially still able to blitz there were STD and Gob

After reading every single one of gob’s posts D1/D2, it convinces me more and more they’re Scum, not less. I don’t know what else to say. I could read today and think the silly strategies being proposed come from a Town mindset, but the shading of camel (which got reversed multiple times when convenient, with some light defending, and never a vote), and the constant search for an alternative (while not ending with a vote D1, and a vote on imaginality D2, which was at one point the CW to Scum) just don’t give me any fuzzy feelings.

Can someone else tell me why those posts should be read as coming from Town?

i’m not trying to be difficult but whenever i’ve read gobs iso i’ve come to e opposite conclusion, and that they’re playing without tmi; when they did things like defend camel it didn’t feel like it was a buddy running interference. what do you see?

i think that the way he treated camel is like… strikingly against how i think a wolf would play this game. in that he’s not taking much care to make his processes look “real” or good in a game where it matters a whole lot how you interact with your fellow wolves. it’s blatantly helpful to the mafia but i don’t think it’s being done intentionally; when he says stuff like “camels been shaded a lot” fmpov it’s a genuine defense of someone they flipped to thinking was town. there’s just no real regard for looking real.

i think the most compelling part is having camel just out of reach for an elimination but camel was that for… a few people i think. and i don’t think the linked scumgame looks like th e game here unless gob factored in being caught out there to here.

i thought that trying to insert yourself into an interaction between two people, if they are town, is a little things wolves might not do, they want to be in on the joke but i felt it would be harder to barge in on an interaction like that
it was weird to me that camel dodged what was a relatively easy question to answer and felt… wrong. for lack of a better term. not damning clearly but weird

with retrospect it’s clearer why camel chose that as a jumping off point though.

also t3: i can see the town incentive to end a day but in a game like this it is a lot harder to take it at face value that town does this; a quickhammer like that doesn’t get scrutinized as much i feel because we only get one more chance to hit correctly and thus people aren’t inclined i feel to judge it like they would in a traditional setup. we have to hem and hedge on it and it feels wasteful as well to just… go for it like that despite a town read previously stated.

i thought patchwork was doing some basic wolfy things and that vote was solidified by titus making some real interesting choices to the point of absurdity
