stop talking about your mason status. Play the damn game please. What happens happens. I just realized that my earlier post said we would need to assume Radiant is town for this to be optimal, but we actually would need to assume he is town and not lying.
There are 3 possibilities for non-fakeclaiming-Radiant:

No, there is exactly one possibility: he survives tonight due to a commute and he dies N3.

Radiant [assuming Town] could claim commute and lie as well, which could potentially draw scum into wasting a shot. Which I think would be a great play.

The alternatives are two confirmed town in d3, and one in d4, something that is worse than no night kill n2. ohhh yeah, and factor in that the mason claim together right there, and all over a sudden we have a possibility of 4 confirmed town in in one day.

This game can be characterized by

completely sub-optimal

flat out horrid town play. Really, people should read this game to show them how not to play as power roles. Every town power role has made a catastrophic mistake.


It should be noted that DCL holding onto his mason is the only thing keep this game together. I must admit that DCL showed good foresight not to out that, and the town not lynching him d1 actually turned out to be okay due to the way the town power is stacked. I still think that in DCL's shoes, with the information that was available d1, I would have played differently, but things aren't that bad on the mason front.
