Because in the beginning of the game a good town is supposed to be suspicious of everyone. It should take more than 2 pages of fluff/RVS for you to determine that someone is a townie.

there was something else that caught my eye on a brief skin of the 8 pages:

Krab person (cabd?) - why did you feel the need to seperate orc for not having enough posts from everyone else who don't have enough posts? I found this kinda bizarre behaviour.

It's weird to see him NOT super hyperactive, after seeing his play in other games. I felt it needed more distinction, hence "not enough posts yet", because orci usually has walls up by now.

This is true and it is why I don't have a read for him yet. He and I are a hydra in another game, so I know his slow start in this game has RL reasons. Otherwise I'd probably be freaking out about how quiet he is in this game.

I more or less agree with it. I probably would have 1 of the town and 1 of the scum in null, but directionally at the town and scum borders of null. Nacho and I have been working on reads off and on and it's going pretty well. Syr is catching up today too.

Okay, first of all, you fucks need to stop posting so goddamn fast and furious. TIP, Mastin, and Rift Adrift, I'm looking at you. Between the three of you, you have almost half of all the posts in the thread.

Second, lol at anyone and everyone talking about 'lurkers,' people 'avoiding the thread,' and suspicion leveled against those who haven't posted yet. TIP is massively guilty of this. The game is SEVEN HOURS OLD. Some of us have jobs, and have been at work literally the entire span of the game so far. Chill.

Alright. I'm exhausted from a ten-hour work day, and have mostly skimmed from my phone on breaks. ProHawk's idea was dumb enough that I defaulted to thinking it was TIP's, Mastin is playing Townish but spastic, TIP reads scummy all the time, Nero is leaning weak scum (seems too eager to label strong reads,) Shadi hasn't become wildly anti-Town yet, nullish on everyone else.

Went ahead and took an ISO again. I liked the first post, reminded me a bit of SafetyDance and all of those other people who tell you and I to post less, and I think that's townie because it shows they have genuine willingness to keep up with the thread. But then I realized that there was a difference here, in that Doc isn't actually showing the committment SD has. I would've expected a stronger rebuttal in the second post from a town Doc.

I've had a very busy weekend, and have only managed a quick skim so far. I'll catch up fully some time this evening, but two things stuck out to me.

First, Nero's gleeful seizing of any excuse to undercut his detractors and avoid explaining his reads solidifies my scum read on him. He's done absolutely everything he can this game to mock, misrepresent, and push wagons on people without providing even the barest of case on them. That's classic scum.

I haven't played with him before so I don't know iuf the posturing is typical. The votes look bad if he's an experienced and usually savvy player. I'll need meta to determine how bad.

Well, I disagree here, an "average" chance of being scum would be x in 23, from my POV. I only need to have one town read to shift that to x in 22. That's better than average. I have a few town reads. While they might not be accurate, I consider this shifts the chances of BRO being scum to better than x in 23, therefore better than average. But I suppose he doesn't have a better chance of being scum than anyone else I haven't townread yet, so maybe you're right that my language is unclear. There's a lot of people who are better than average. Still, I'm happy to leave my vote here for now because at this moment I can't find a better target.

What's your read on BRO, MS? I see you interact with him once in your ISO, calling him boring. Other mentions of his name are in recent posts to me. zdenek, is quoting someone and saying "scum" your idea of analysis? What's weird about me making a typo and then correcting it? And why am I scum for my quoted post at MS?

I think I might have been wrong to town read zdenek, his push at me comes right after rift names me and him as scum... fishy timing. If I get lynched first, it discredits rift's list... and if he gets lynched first and flips scum, rift's thoughts looks good and his comments at me will be interpreted as blatant distancing, maybe resulting in my mislynch. I also don't like his reasoning for pushing TMT... I have my doubts about TMT, but this goat fellow is certainly someone who deserves scrutiny, I mean he has 3 posts yet has an important vote down... zdenek calling TMT scummy for pointing this out is questionable.

Orc is town anyway. He doesn't forget a game where he draws scum. rift is town too, despite ff scumreading me. It would surprise me if scum could be bothered to read overly posh to compare my meta.
