Tell me what a town flip might indicate, and what a scum flip might indicate.

You need specific answers to this because I don’t think a lynx flip would solidify any reads.

i mean i am as "ok" with a lynx wagon as the next guy. i just don't think we're lynching lynx for information, we're lynching lynx + replacement for being lurksacks and for being scummy

I don't have any specific answers for associative tells and I'm not going to fake them. Would likely look at how people were talking about Lynx rather than how Lynx was talking about people. I stand by the act of making a wagon on someone as policylynchy as Lynx being informative. How people get on it or stay off it can be informative.

orcinus wrote:i mean i am as "ok" with a lynx wagon as the next guy. i just don't think we're lynching lynx for information, we're lynching lynx + replacement for being lurksacks and for being scummy

Game needs to progress. I was scumreading Lynx for a few reasons, but really I just care more about progressing the state of the game at this point.

orcinus wrote:How can that not be construed as trying to see what people are thinking of you?

Again, it's a focus on trying to start conversation. I'm saying there's a lot of material on me so people should be able to talk about me.

orcinus wrote:I mean sure but then this brings us back to the question where both of us self-meta’d, and you called me scum for it when it’s something you do in the same situation as town.

How? I already said I didn't call you scummy for this.

orcinus wrote:So you’re telling me you haven’t seen any angles to pursue this game?

ABR, Mara, SSK and Lynx have been angles. Had angle on you and it didn't pan out.

@Cheetory:

Okay, in your , SMP didn't say that. I REMEMBER that because Orcinus said it to ME after I did a whole bunch of work on meta-ing SMP. So that doesn't follow either.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.

Fucked up the owner of the quotes. Was saying that I thought SMP was following the logic from quote A to quote B. EG: someone was commenting on something relating to flubber and then SMP said something that I thought was related to that.

Flubber doesn't talk D1 other than a hello post. Beginning of D2 some conversation occurs which Flubber doesn't participate in. This is when I first brought up the possibility that Flubber is scum. A day or 2 later he calls out someone as being scum. They say that isn't true. Flubber says they are scum by POE from his point of view. I call him out on it, saying that there could be the possibility that we're all town, or that Flubber himself is scum. Next post he says that he obviously knows he isn't scum and that a scum accusation would get more out of this person. Some more posts by the accused, then Flubber says the scum callout was a bad spook attempt and is now a moot point.

How did you fuck up the quotes? You have too erase the original quoted person's post reference and add my name to it.

Here are the wagons that I would be ok with happening today: lynx, flubber, cheetory

I'm leaning toward the first two because i feel like we have enough markers for cheetory to be able to develop a pretty accurate read d3

between lynx + flubber, i feel good about flubber for being a nonsensical nuisance and less good about lynx being a nonentity

plus it's a replacement slot which is really annoying

So I mean since the original point was that you haven't been pursuing answers as aggressively. Is there a reason for this?

Like this is great and all but it doesn't address the point that you've been letting people ignore your questions, which is not something you usually do.

I'm trying to form reads and assist in an actual lynch. You understand how its worse on a whole versus one player. I mean ffs we still have people voting/pushing new cases that don't stand a chance at becoming even a rival wagon, much less a lynch. Doesn't make sense to me, as a whole, given our time limit.

I'm looking differently at this game than I normally do

Because normally I wouldn't really commit a read on cabd as either alignment because last time I tried to commit one as scum on him it was terribly transparent and as town I frankly never have the confidence in reading him, it's like the same paranoia I get re: nacho but I actually do really like my stance behind him

I'm trying to play ambivalent deity in my hood because I don't particularly trust hoods but I know after xmen I need to partially suspend that and not isolate anyone in the QT so it's a shift but it doesn't particularly matter as almost noone posted in D1
