...it's clear to me that EP's limited reveal was intentional, rather than a initially confusing description of what was meant to be a full reveal. Subsequently, Lucian's analysis in [#67] makes perfect sense. A player can either doubt EP's claim, and continue to pressure the reveal on the grounds that the claim is scummy. BUT failing that, the correct move is to trust that EP knows how to play their role and control the share of information to our best advantage. Maybe they have additional power and are hiding that fact to live past N1. Maybe there

isn't

anything else special to the role and they are trying to fabricate PR-worth to draw the scum kill.

This thought process makes sense.

Personally, the Hated/Doubled-Voting power is a believable claim balance wise and I'm leaning towards town EP because scum double-voters are ridiculously overpowered. EP's also been active and engaging with the other players, to reinforce my townread on their claim.

I haven't been able to read anyone as scum to a significant degree so far. My best guess would be Antihero. His grasp at Lucian is very weak. He cherry-picks portions of Lucian's posts as unnecessary fluff despite the fact that Lucian has, for the most part, posted very substantially - providing reads and explaining himself well. And Anti's remarks on EP's claim are a

A quick skim of Aristophanes' iso tells me that he's either a busy person or has limited access to a pc, possibly both, thus he hasn't posted much. But when he does post, he contributes by offering his thoughts, tries to understand the line of thoughts behind reads and most importantly, he votes.

One problem I see is the lack of his own reads, he's trying to understand other people's reads more than giving his own reads.

If Aristophanes is the only death, that's not enough to confirm Empking-scum, but my target from N2 should be able to tell you Espeonage's alignment and I trust you can narrow it down from there.

Killerjester targeted me night 2, telling me to investigate Espeonage N3. I lied about it yesterday in an attempt to further confuse scum, even though I was unlikely to die nevertheless. Hence this post:

Well of the remaining players:
Empking, LucianRoy, and DarkLightA have all been targeted by Weak Faith Healers. They are all town.
Not_Mafia or Soren could be scum individually, but their claims confirm each other because I don't believe there would be 5 scum.
Aristophanes is confirmed as Faith Healer by ika's flip, and scum having 2 FHs seems as unlikely as a 3rd party FH.

Which leaves me. And I've been a paragon of excellence this entire game.

However, if the game isn't over after we lynch Espeonage the players with active roles (at this point, EVERYONE), should target DLA every night. This should prevent scum from making kills because he would be protected by Empking. Any kill they make would be tracked if they target DLA, or at least be evident if DLA tells us they did not submit an action on himself.

Then we'd methodically investigate the remaining players through my role.

The only thing pointing to Aris town is the speculation that scum wouldn't have 2 Faith Healers - would be a very weak scum team, and inane power because town does not have killing roles. This, however, does not account for the potential to mislead town given the Watcher + Tracker combo or second-level game design (that is, including 2 Scum Healers because town would instinctively doubt such a setup).

I'd consider Scum Mason to be bastard, and a lot less likely than a 2nd Scum Healer.

Everyone besides Aris and Lucian should target DLA. The only way we can rule out potential scum 100% is through Aris' targets and players known to be targeting DLA on a night that someone else dies.

Theoretically, if Aris dies tonight and Soren/Not_Mafia are not tracked to his house then you could deduce that I am scum. This is the point of view that you should all be looking from right now.

Realistically, the only reason Aris would die tonight is if the last scum targets him for the night kill. Therefore, it's important to me that all towns target DLA so that if Aris dies the unbiased possibilities for scum are narrowed down to me and one other person (which we have enough lynches for).

With the delay I didn't want to investigate players I expected to lynch before the results came back, a criterion I felt you didn't meet early on. After ika's flip and the massclaim I didn't think you were scum until everyone else was cleared first.
