which, by itself, looks definitely like the same bullshit. If you'd seen me doiong this and voting you, you'd be like 'huh' and keep going, maybe even vote me as a prod to get me doing something. either way, no nervousness would pique your brain.

I'm doing a lot atm, and its really late, you cant blame me for forgetting who I voted for.

this looks to me like a "what? why would you say that? no I'm not! that scummy thing that I did there without actually noticing it beforehand, now I'm trying to weave it as normal, you can't say I'm scum because of that!"

..sounds to me like he's scum of some kind, who did not understand why the fuck out of the blue I stroke bullseye. He ISOed himself or something, found something that I might have found, and automatically tried to defend it without me even attacking it.

Also look at the timestamps. there's an entire hour between him "forgetting that he did vote postie" and him defending about it. It looks like he did that and was super nervous about whether or not town would call him out on his mistake that he even admitted to making. Then a vote came, so an uberdefensiveness way of speech came about.

TL;DR:

He overdefended himself against an absurd accusation, with not a single supporting detail to actually make it real, and no pressure from anyone.
