Well, if you really want to get lynched, self voting is a good way to convince me to put my vote back on you...

Honestly, if you are town don't do that crap. The game has been slow last few days, make your case and give some time for people to check in and respond. TBH I feel like the game is in a frustrating place right now, we have several good scum candidates but can't seem to make a good consensus on who to lynch first.

Persivul makes a decent point, and I am not convinced by the doctor claim. I'll put a vote on VOTE: Chip Butty if it will break the stagnation of the game.

But I think the mass claim idea has merit too. If everyone claimed, we could at least get a good sense as to whether the scum are hiding under doctor claims or cop claims, which would be nice.

I find this to be really wonky, and I'm inclined to think it's scummy. It's the first time Anen actually interacts directly with a player, and it seems pedantic. It looks like he's trying to establish a reason to conclude that Smith is town, then uses any response as a justification for drawing that conclusion. Why would Anen do that as scum? To justify pushing the counter to Smith, which falls in line with his scumread on me. It's like a reverse chainsaw, if I'm understanding chainsawing correctly.

If the player Anen townreads votes him, he calls it evidence of him being town, while in Transcend's case, it's scummy, even though they have basically the same context. He also uses this chance to refer to his wagon as not viable, which is cute.

The next several posts are somewhat contentless, so I'm not going to delve deep onto them, but if you read the ISO yourself you can see what I'm talking about. Anen isn't directly interacting with players and isn't providing enough explanation of his opinions for my liking.

I actually really like this. Anen gets more open around deadline. This is the biggest thing that would make me want to keep Anen around. However, this activity near deadline could be because all of the available people to lynch are town, and Anen is going for town points because no matter who flips, Anen gave a little sighing disapproval beforehand.

So there are a few actual things in hear that I find scummy, but mostly, it's the lack of appropriate town play. Townies should engage other players, appear to be searching for town and scum, and also provide reason why they read people the way they do. Quoting a post and calling it "pigeon poop" doesn't cut it, so I only see searching for town and scum, and that's just not good enough for me, especially since I don't think the conclusions that Anen has drawn are all that great.

True, but what I am not seeing is why you are coloring green several players whose claims are not substantiated, or who have been the targets of unsubstantiated investigations. You are in danger of makking some players undeservedly look confTown. I'm not saying that it is scummy at this point, but it could def hurt Town.

If all claims are true so far, we have 5 cops and 4 docs. That leaves one town cop or doc, and 3 scum. If the un-claiming players all claimed, it seems like it would be a pro-town result to me.

Actually, if we assume ranger's vouch for murdercat is legit, which I think we should, murdercat should be the LAST claim, as we know and trust he is town. This forces any scum in the unconfirmed players to pick roles before they know for sure what is potentially possible in the setup.

Is there ANY way this could hurt town? Don't start claiming unless the majority think it's a good idea, but a this point I think it makes sense.

Gunna stick with this. I think a mass claim might be good, although not getting a cop guilty in this setup is pretty rough. It will narrow our pool down though.

What's the point of the VCA? Looks like cakez parked for long periods, then hopped opportunistically toward the end. Is that it , or is there something else?

Penguin makes sense as a town investigation target - he was up to L-1 at one point, so a lot of people find him suspicious, and transcend was on the wagon himself.

Scum fake claiming prefer to go with doctor, as claiming cop creates a conftown.

Penguin does not make sense as target for a scum fake claim. As noted, he was already at L-1, so he's a potential mislynch. You don't fake conftown someone who you see as mislynchable. You fake conftown someone who you think you'll need to NK anyway.

I kinda wish in hindsight that I checked karnos b/c if I greened him it would clear him AND podoboq. If I redded him it wouldn't make podo red but it would make people less trustworthy of him than they are now.

I still think they're both town, but now I'll have no idea.
