I won't question your integrity any more okay? I do like you. That was genuinely how I read what was happening in both games and especially after the game where Cloud said he was only caught by outside game meta which I thought meant he also realized I tracked him because of that comment in the other game. That's also why I wasn't happy with winning that but I couldn't do anything about it because I couldn't talk to you about it because we were in the other game together so we'd have both had to replace if I did.

Chainsaw defense = attacking the players voting a player instead of simply defending a player. I don't think "chainsaw lynch" is a thing.

No town player would 100% back off something they've been strongly thinking for the past few weeks unless it was disproved with a cop or something along those lines not with 1 simple msg it's prob in the back of your mind or not gone at all

Simply setting up lynches is not a scumtell, town do it all the time. The chainsaw defense, and you being the sole voice against the lynch, was what got me to SR you.

And yeah, I haven't 100% backed off anything, simply committed myself to updating my stagnant reads. I was so focused on night action analysis/coasting on my LLD SR D2 that my reads barely changed.

Towncred is a thing scum have to care about, hard-defending your buddy is too obvious whereas defending the likely lynch, who you know will flip town, is a plausible scum motivation. And seems likely from an outsider perspective if the player in questions seems to have no reason for townreading a player/being against their lynch.

The chainsaw defense, and what I perceived as a weak/inexplicable reason for it, were the scumtell. The towncred was the potential scum motivation. Looking for the scum motivation is a big part of my scumhunting.

I've played with scum!Creature before, and I don't think this is it. More gut than anything concrete, but that's how TRs usually are for me.
