I know this was a while ago, but every time I think about RedFlavor's self-vote, it makes me more suspicious.
Like I said earlier, when he was at L-1, one of the votes was his own. If he had felt like he was in danger, he could have unvoted himself or changed his vote to keep himself safe. That means it would be much easier to stay calm and not make a mistake.

I meant to post this yesterday, but life. I'll do this post and then give my thoughts on the last 2 pages.

First off, stop acting like an IC, because you're not, and you do not know everything about how to play this game. There are other people in this game who are IC's and there is a reason that they are IC's, and there is a reason that you're not an IC.

Just because of this chain, I'm seriously starting to lean on a Sheep/Saul scumteam. Sheep has been nothing but negative on all my and Avi's reads and thoughts this game, Saul has contributed little to none in terms of real scumhunting (only 5 posts, an RVS vote, and a wild attack on Avi), and this looks like an attempt from Sheep to cover up a dumb response on Saul's part.

You're at neutral because what you have posted doesn't strike me as either town or scum. You've also only posted 18 times, so I don't really have a read on you yet.
Sunset I'm still slightly scumleaning because she only has 1 readpost, 6 posts, and what she has posted seems weak. While 194 could be a powerclaim, it could also be her saying that she doesn't want to lynch a power role, or it could be a scum gambit. In any case, the excuse for lurking is pretty weak.
Saul's posts seem incredibly defensive for town. He's constantly either avoiding a direct confrontation or getting very passive/aggressive whenever he's asked a question or any reading is done in his direction. Plus he has contributed basically nothing to this game. In fact, considering his posts over the last few pages (which I'll get to eventually), he looks even scummier than before.

I'm leaning heavily on a saul/sheep scumteam right now based on the information above.

No, it's not the L-1 from RVS. considering the timing and everything, I'd actually say that's the least anti-town thing you've done.
My thinking is that you've definitely got some good reading posts. But there is a lot of posts that don't contribute to town in your ISO (though not nearly as bad as sheep). And then you have that really sudden vote in posts 339 and 344. The reason I don't like this vote is because in the very first game I was in (the Deco Murders game) one of the scum did the exact same thing to me (I was vi) an then just tunneled me. I knew he was full of b.s. and that his logic was bad, and so I tunneled him. (Hence the walls.) It's also a logical fallacy, but that's wiki stuff which I won't get into here because I'm refraining from that route. But when you did that, I immediately became wary, because its a pretty anti-town play based on my past experience.
Then there was the rule of threes thing, which ahs a couple of thing s wrong with it. First, your assuming the scum pool, second, it's wiki-style play, which I've already leaned means basically nothing in this game, and third, what it actually ended up doing was put major pressure on saul, which is really weird since saul already looks bad. This is when it occurred to me that you could be scum trying to use this rule of threes ploy to put incredible stress on a player who already looked bad. I wasn't getting anywhere with anymore, it had just become stupid 1v1, so I decided to do some more digging in your direction, and I moved the vote to you to add some weight.
But since then, sheep has been ridic. again, which means the vote has returned to him, for the reasons I've stated above (among others that I've already stated this game). I don't think both of you could be scum at this point. I'm leaning much harder on a sheep/saul team (which again, I've explained why before). But I wanted to get away from the 1v1 and some of the things you were doing seemed odd, so that's why the vote ended up in your direction.

I think that scum might be a bit more likely to think that way, but as I said, I'm probably reaching. This was just an idea that I didn't want to dismiss entirely.

When I realized I put myself to L-1 I immediately changed my vote (to you) and you can see that. That does not mean that I did not felt in danger. In 256 you also said If I was town I would not vote myself because I know that I am an innocent person. However, this makes no sense because that would mean scum would vote themselves because of guilt. Both things seems pretty opportunistic and I would say sunset is saul's partner.

Also I am not a huge fan of the LUV speed lynch. RC was 100% sure they would flip scum but just because RC flipped town doesn't mean we should treat their word as gospel.

RedFlavor's vote here especially is a bit sus to me as they were convinced RC was scum at end of D1 and now are seemingly piggybacking off of RC's last words.

I'm the last person on earth who wants to defend Flavor, but the logic in this statement is flawed. Flavor was convinced RC was scum, but got confirmation it was the opposite. Why would this not change Flavor's reads in favor of what RC was saying?

it's one thing to change reads after seeing someone's flip. It's another to take a dead Townie's reads as Gospel.

When people like you, Inferno, Sando want to lynch LUV, I get that. You guys were actively thinking of the information put out there by RC during last phase and were voicing your thoughts on the matter.

RedFlavor was derptunneling (as someone said) that RC is scum and asking others to vote him. He gave no indication of thinking anything else was happening.

Now after the flip, he's just piggybacking on what were RC's last words and what he expected to happen today.

I saw this as opportunistic and essentially a desperate attempt to sweep under the rug that Red contributed next to nothing last Day and imo continues to do so here today.

That's pretty weird wording for "I lynch my scumreads." Because if you are not lynching TR's and nulls that only leaves scumreads. What I'm thinking is, if he said "I scumread RC." he would have no reasons to answer why he does because LUV knows that RC is not scum. He had to fabricate reasons but it would be hard since RC was just new. I still don't see a reason in his ISO for scumreading RC other than eliminating even nulls. Also if you don't townread nulls and you are not sure if they are town, why would you not lynch them?

On the other hand, I'm still fairly certain that Red is scum, because he was also very opportunistic with the Saul slot, and with him replacing out, I think he's now floundering because the one place he's been putting all his pressure just replaced out, so his wagon fell completely apart.
I'm going to hedge a few bets on a Red/Uzi wagon and see where that goes.

After inferno calling me opportunistic, LUV asked inferno if opportunism is AI. Inferno explained it and it was a good explanation.

Opportunism in the sense of trying to get scummy town lynched without actually voting yourself, by posting in a way to force the wagon on into lynching, is scummy. Which is what I think you were doing. There was no real case from either Red or you on Saul. You just pushed his wagon really hard without adding the weight of your vote. Town would add his vote and at least give us his reads if they were going to indirectly push a slot.

I already had my reasons but LUV's reasons were bad. The fact that LUV asking this Twice is weird because opportunism is what scum can do, since they need to fabricate reads on weird town posts. After inferno explained opportunism being AI, LUV said nothing about it. He probably asked this to look contributy and pocketing me and clearing himself.

Listen guys, lynches are there to lynch people you think are scum - not to avoid a deadline and surely not always for the sake of information. If you're lynching players you have a good feeling are innocent, just to avoid a no lynch, then you are out of your mind as that accomplishes nothing. If you strongly feel the player is innocent then them flipping does nothing. You just eliminated someone that could have possibly been put in the hard to lynch category which is one of many things scum don't like.

Just because you can lynch every cycle doesn't mean you should lynch every cycle. The nature of every lynch is different. Some are built on investigations, some on analyzing a player's behavior, some on votes, some on bullshit, some on lies - are you going to lynch someone to avoid a no lynch even if you think the case against them is shit because half of the other people voted?

No lynching doesn't always hurt. New information may be gained during the night phase, people's thoughts may change, and you may even find more reasons to convince other players to lynch your scum reads or to not lynch your town reads. If you can reasonably step back, look at the situation and deduce that the player on the clock is town, then no lynching gives town 1 more player scum has to think about before winning.

First, you don't know who is town exactly. Unless you are investigative, you are never sure if someone is town or not. Even you lynch townie, it can give informations like if someone that jumped on the wagon jumped suspiciously you might be suspicious of him etc.

I don’t have problem with you disagreeing with my advice RC. I have a problem with you insinuating I’m intentionally giving advice that is not in a newbie’s best interest just because you do not agree with it.

I’m not really sure why you’re trying to lynch me other than disagreeing with how I’m approaching this game as an IC. You said something about me not trying to engage you and stating that you believe that’s something I would sort of do as scum with no supporting evidence. So unless you have some sort of secret meta on me, you have no case.

Earlier I listed slots I was not willing to lynch and then some null reads. I felt why I’m willing to lynch certain slots was self-explanatory.

I could lynch Creature but a lot of what I’ve been scum reading him for has to do with experience and meta. I don’t think that kind of reasoning are something that the average newbie can follow. I also don’t think his wagon would gain any traction at this point in time.

So that just leaves you. I feel your slot is not like Sunset’s slot at all where there is very little indicative of alignment going on there.

Also what Im thinking is after that town flip, if we have a jailkeeper they probably jailkept LUV. Also LUV wanting to nolynching seems like they need to do more investigations. So there are probably mafia rolecop. That gives me B Row 3 and there are also tracker in that setup and they probably tracked me after RC calling them to investigate me. But this is just a guess

When LUV flips scum, if no one dies tonight, I am 90% sure that we need to lynch Sunlit tomorrow.
If someone dies tonight, Sunlit is conftown.
If LUV, by some sort of scum miracle, flips town, and no matter what happens, lynch Sunlit.

Crossing my fingers that I don't take the NK for this, but even if I do, town has gotten something to work off of tomorrow.
And there's a lot of WIFOM that can happen with this, I know. But I think that either getting a win or a conftown out of it is worth it, and it puts scum in a very awkward situation come night.

Inferno confirmed his JK role for me in his first post D2, specifically because I know I was blocked. We could have had a roleblocker, yes, but Inferno's post was classic JK results crumbing...bit of a boot to the face version, in fact. Scum could and probably would have shoved their D1 scum read on him to get a claim based on that evidence. I did not- in fact, I did the exact opposite. I hard town read him with the specific "mechanically proven" phrasing to show exactly how hard that read was, then crumbed my inability to give results by sheeping RC.

I did very little D2 because I did not want to give scum any more info than they already had about who to sic their role cop on.

Creature had bursts of activity that seemed more likely to be his town game but it feels weird to me that he hasn't put any impetus into reading me because he claims to have the stance that I'm an easy read (even though his reads on me are vritually never right, mind you) and usually finds something to try to read me on. Like in our last game he decided that I was town for a period of inactivity because I should have been having more fun as scum. There's none of that here, he unvoted me then didn't really follow up with anything and I'm not like locking him in as scum but I definitely want to force content out of him.

How long until your MU thing is done, Creature? Would like an idea so I know when to stop reading absence as distraction and start to believe what RC's saying here.

So unless someone can bring up something really juicy on Nav, I'm ruling him town, I basically told him I'd vote Red pretty happily yesterday and he pushed away onto Transcend.

Between Red and Avi, I'd lean Red. On both town lynches compared to Avi's 1. The tracker thing Nav brought up still pings me hugely, that's not info that VTs have. We also now know that Sunlit was the NK target N1, and Sunlit was pretty anti-Red day1. I thought I was most pro-town so assumed I'd die, but I was giving Creature a pass for lurking and was also pushing back against Red pressure, so Sunlit would have been a better NK target than me.

Super happy that Transcend flipped Rolecop. I'm pretty sold on Red being the other Mafia here. I think he scumslipped with his Mafia Rolecop theory that I had posted earlier

There are multiple setups with JailKeeper. Why did Red come to the conclusion that this one is the one with RoleCop? Given that Sunlit has now claimed Tracker, if Sunlit is town, this does indeed seems to be the case. There is something really weird to me about this hypothesizing by Red and now the Tracker claim by Sunlit. I don't THINK this would be a calculated attempt by both.

It will be easier in 3 ways because scum will probably kill a person who has been TR'ed by most people and that person will confirmed town and this should leave others with enough informations

He made his account in 2009 and I guess he is a really experienced player, so that should not be a problem for him.

Also the fact that Sando waited for nav to vote should be concerning because sando knew that that there is a possibility for nav to vote me and end the game so he waited to end the game more early if nav votes me, and if sando voted me before nav and somehow sunlit and nav voted trans and trans get lynched, it would look really bad for sando so that also makes sense for him to vote later

Thenav, since discussion is hard to come by, what'd you think of Sunlit's take that Inferno was obv-JK based on his first D2 post, in light of Sunlit being truthful about that? I think Sunlit was the only person at that point in time with knowledge of what happened 100% since he was blocked and therefore either the target or no-kill. Think scum would reasonably deduce JK involvement and who it was? Think reasonable for VT to deduce JK involvement and who it was?

I don't see Inferno's post at the start of the day as obv JK. From Sunlit's perspective, yes. From a VT's, no.
