I feel like he isn't genuinely reassessing anyone. At first glance one might assume this is ubecause he was tunneled on gobbles but he's since indicated that he expects his own read to flip on that slot.

He hasn't attempted to sort the alignments of those who are voting him such as Dong and FF, instead Auro chooses to attack the arguments as wrong. This leads me to believe that he doesn't need to know if these votes are coming from scum or town, he just needs to discredit the arguments for his own appearance. You could say he's leaving his options open as you accused me of earlier. I direct you to exhibit A: Auro refusing to give reads prior to anyone else.

Aside from Auro demonstrating disregard for actual sorting, he has offered to be lynched, gladiator style, twice now. Sure I'm an emotional, impulsive player, but Auro accuses me of stupidity when he believes town would listen to his reads after death. He's not that stupid, rather he thinks that by pairing himself with you or I, either of our flips might clear him -(if town!dann). This false offering is clearly a show of bravado that he thinks might buy him some towncred. The benefits to a town player making this offering < the benefits to a scum player gambiting.

I scumread Dong D1 because of their scummy af push on my entrance. I lost the scumread after their NSG hammer. Dunn dying over Dann/Auro makes sense from a Dong team. The constant promising of content makes sense from scum holding on. Pushing Auro today is bold and town indicative because Dong dies tomorrow if Auro is town. So this read is a mixed bag for me.

Possible Dong partners are gobbles/FF. Most likely FF so if Dong flips town it doesn't really clear much because FF/gobbles FF/BB FF/Dan Gobbles/Dann Gobbles/BB are still possibilities.

Guess I misremembered the days. I think BB seems to be townspewing players a lot with his defense of gobbles and of FF. Like his votes are actually quite bad as is his ISO. I was remembering him as towny for some reason but I think it's just because everyone kept saying he was town.

I guess the biggest thing for me was seeing BB hard defend gobbles D2 but then D3 trying to lynch him. Seeing that prefaced by his townread of Espeon before lynching him seems to indicate a pattern of going with consensus but in a disingenuous way where he tries to detach himself from the responsibility of his reads and actions.

You can see Dann voting Dong with Gobbles in VC1 after which he does the whole Eddie thinks it's Hopkirk scum (which still doesn't make sense) which pushed hop to the lead. So Dann/gob behaviour yesterday plus Dann/gob behaviour today (with Dann using his team to townread gob) could indicate a Dann/gob team.

It hasn't become BB/Auro. It's still Dann/Dong. BB will look bad after the Dong flip but a scum!BB looks pretty great today with everyone discounting him/dead people townreading him. If Dann is his buddy they probably push you from one side and defend you from the other so they can position to lynch either you or gobbles (FF probably votes you here as does gobbles).

Gobbles scum lynch average to high players D1 if they can get away with it. Lynchbait usually get left until late game ime as scum have already thought the game through.
