Something that stuck out to me is how many people glazed over my request altogether. I don't think it was an incorrect thought, and I also realized I misunderstood how it worked once it was clarified in thread. I think it's going to be good information to dig into more at a later time.

I am unimpressed by the votes on me over the request, but understand them. Of the two I think Gamma's was weaker, as it seems fairly surface level.

I did check with the mod, and as a matter of fact: yes. That's in fact how it works! The mod confirmed that me using my 1x guaranteed raid success...will give me another shot at a guaranteed raid success.

The downside to me claiming/confirming this is that now all scum with X-shots know they can get another X-shot but hopefully the town can get more mileage out of the raid. (I claimed without knowing what the raid bonus was, I saw my role earlier, formed a plan for what I'd do on daystart, I was phoneposting when the game started, so didn't know the ramifications until now.)

A townie mindset would save this to stop 3 failed raids in a row or something instead of wasting it early on. But you claimed it when the mod alluded to that type of role day 1 and plan to use it immediately?

I read the raid thing at the beginning and it said only hostile factions can choose to pass or fail the raid if they're in it. So your ability seems more suited to town at first glance. But it said faction(s). So I dunno.

I just don't wanna trust you to claim this role so early. Does the town know when you succeed? Because if we don't know when you use it, then you can just let this raid pass through by just accepting this raid as scum instead. You'd know if your buddies are in the raid anyway.

We're too early for mech talk, the claim is NAI to me from mechanical perspective and mastina is not town by meta even remotely at the moment, as she can powerwolf. For now she's a solid null for me, time will tell.

I wanna talk to RCE because I think I've caught something. The cat prfpc I can't remember the name I have mixed feelings on but overall probs lean scum. Bell town. Mirio I have such a hard scum read on them but fuck they remind me of Lukewarm and now my brain's messing with me because that man is just so scummy I swear to god. Mirio literally isn't even Lukewarm's alt like they aren't similar but just seeing him post is frustrating.

OK so Mastina claim problem, from the chaotically screwed up but mechanically functional mind of Flea.

Mastina's claim only gives us today as a solid success. Future raids are not locked in to be successful even with Mastina alive, I suspect the future raids will have different rewards.

So assuming today succeeds, I assume the mod has taken measures to prevent breakage of the game from this, and we only get say a maximum of 2 successes. Mastina's smart enough to not announce when the second shot is used, and can be on a raid that fails with plausible deniability.

Placing Mastina onto every raid to set a success removes a potential PoE tool for town.
A failed raid gives us a pool of 8 to hunt in, we know we have a minimum of at least 1 to find, and a pool of 8 is much better than a pool of 20+ even if we're looking for multiple. Mastina is a massive double edge sword here for this one reason.

Anyone townreading Mastina on claim credibility needs to step back and reassess if possible. Mastina's above null for me rn personally, but that's because I know she can powerwolf and there's something not sitting well with me with that firsts reads list.

I feel like complaining about RVS isn't productive and how is more wagons good?! There's too many wagons if anything. The Elsa read is also really noncommittal though I don't feel strongly about Elsa either. Elsa is somewhere in the null section because her thought processes are super simple. Scum tend to go into deeper analysis because they know more and also because it comes off as towny when it's more often than not just scum indicative. But her overall vibes are pretty scummy. She's kind of floating along and gives off big anyone but me vibes.

I'm not a fan of the Q hydra after realizing that Qcrow head is Gamma. It's tough though because I seem to have issues townreading Gamma especially when they are town. I've probably played like ten games with him and TRed him once and he literally just happened to be scum that time grrr. The other issue is that I believe both heads are having some rl issues right now so I don't feel good SRing them. Yeah ok day 1 town pass.

You know how normally in games I get into the "tunnel" mode, where I exaggerate both town/scumreads to be stronger than they actually are? How I will make pushes with confidence and conviction?

I'm struggling to do that this game. Closest I've got is my Qrow/Raven scumread (which might be a bit of the tunnel mode read), and a few of my townreads (Mirio/Dwlee come to mind as exaggerated townreads tho Bell's town enough that the townread on him isn't exaggerated). But I'm struggling to lock people down, and struggling when locking things down to make them be strongly so. I've got basically no conviction here and it fucking sucks.

Give it a bit of time tho, I'm sure that'll change eventually and slowly.

Missions in resistance also have way less people, and it's easier to figure out, in a pool of 8 it'd be almost like trying to find a needle in a haysack specially if we dont know the ammount of scum in it.
If you think you can do it, more power to you, i wasnt that good at cross referencing in mindnight/resistance anyway and that one felt easier.

There is also more incentive for scum to fail a mission in resistance, it's their main objective after all.

Hmmm I don't really believe this reasoning it's weird. I scum read Momma bear but I don't like this reasoning. I just think her reactions don't feel genuine at all like yes, I misinterpreted her post but her reactions felt much more mellow than town Titus would be about it. Like my momma bear is someone that will grab a pitchfork the moment you say she's red when she's green. Zero hesitation. I used to think he wasn't amazing at scum which was why he always got pounced on fast but he gets pounced on regardless of alignment so I actually don't care what happens, we aren't voting him out day 1. I was reading over them earlier and felt fairly harsh towards Cakez's 88 (thought it was faking excitement like town would or something) and 400 for scum being outpaced but the latter is unfair. IDK.

Like maybe I understand the excitement thing but Cake doesn't seem like the type to be trying to act cute/excited to get town reads. Last time I was scum with him, he was pretty serious and people townread it. The tell works somewhat decent on me but not so much Cakey boi.

So, for Sakura, I just dunno if this is how they would, as scum start the game out, after being away for awhile. Sort of semi serious, but consistent. Their attention just makes sense as do their responses for the most part. Not all of her posts are focused on looking town either, while other posts look town while appearing innocuous at first.

I like her and find her towny. She reminds me a lot of Super and Super was town when I had paranoia on her so Sakura is town too.

These three votes are weird. Why do we have people trying to make these outlier votes? These people need to pick something popular, or amp up their motivation and push the reason a little more vocally. In particular, I feel like the Wheme vote on TC is both wasted and futile given the type of player Wheme is. They may as well not be voting at all.

With dwlee bringing up their own meta of mislimming AA9, #2 is my current favorite, as from they're pov, they look like they, "finally got it right", and town is less likely to lim them if AA9 goes through.

If dwlee's history of always hounding AA9 had been brought up by anybody else, all of this wouldn't be so bad, but he's literally undermining his own credibility on an issue he claims to want.

Game was a bit stagnant, we were on Day 10(?) and discussion about anything was pretty much done. No significant pushes against any player had been made. Mom hadn't posted in 2 days, and T3 backed up the fact she has a lurkscum meta. Half her votes came like 2 pages prior to end of day, someone put her at E-1 when E-2 is usually the holding ground, and then dwlee spazzed out with the extra votes on a lurk slot.

As far as I remember tictac's flavor was someone very important to the story or something one of the leaders or whatever, so it's more likely to come from a town player than the claims we've seen from the 2 flipped scum so far which are just minor characters.

Meh I didn't think that through. But I guess theres always the possibility that Mastina decided not to use her ability. I think that if she was wise, she would've saved it because bulletproof really doesn't mean shit now knowing scum have a strongman. There were already heavy suspicions on that yesterday so it would've been smart to save it and take the risk.

Anyway, imma stay off the raid, i dont wanna risk another strongman shot, if you guys want to risk it fine, i doubt scum is gonna fail it if the strongman is in it anyway.
But with people being uncooperative with the mass claim so we can lock people to their claims while toog is alive to confirm them, i dont wanna risk it.

Again, as I said so damned long ago... this is potentially a way to generate a pool to look in. We know the reward, if the raid passes then we have 8 people to look at, if it fails, honestly we gain a danger level and there's scarier things right now imo from what I've been reading.

I was side eying that post about how if Elsa flipped scum one of Houses TRs would drop but I didn't expect Elsa to actually flip scum. House has such an old join date he really shouldn't be TMIing at the same time its fucking convenient and doesn't look that scummy. Overall, lean scum.

If Mastina is claiming survivor, House can shut it. When I think town, I think green and survivor. Survivor is not anti town and I would be willing to work with survivor. Survivor can't hurt us + it has a higher chance of winning by working with us. Why would Massy not work with us and why shouldn't we work with her? Theres no actual reason and House is being so scummy. There's literally ZERO benefit to killing a survivor. What benefit do you fucking get. Like she's clearly using her abilities to help town and if at elo, town needs some help getting scum out, I'd bet she'd help us over scum. Why would we be wasting a whole day elim on her? I'm having the time of my life trying to imagine town actually doing this. I'm not seeing it.

I dont want to claim because claiming makes our role entirely useless. Like entirely and 100% useless. I don't wish to say more about it. I'll find a way to crumb it sometime today but that's as far as I'm going. No one is getting this claim out of me. If you're town, you really don't want my role claim out because i guarantee it benefits scum far more than it benefits town. I would bet my LIFE on this claim being better for scum.
