I wrote a Lot of Words about this in our QT, and I can paraphrase some of them if anyone cares but here's the tl;dr:

Stuff that bothered me:

1. Vote lags behind her reads on multiple occasions (didn't vote redlfavor in 56 or 60, doesn't vote singer in 78, hasn't done intent on Pine and isn't voting me now, etc.
   
2. I don't see what she saw in RedFlavor's ISO in the other game, and I think the differences could well be explained by the size of the games, 9p vs 20p
   
3. How much she's relying on other people's meta reads. This is lazy (and convenient if one of those reads is wrong)
   
4. Paints herself into a corner with [singer, Pine] and seems to realise she's done this and starts preparing to fix it even before Singer flips town.
   
5. Something about her re-evaluation that i can't put my finger on (410)

Stuff I liked:

1. Too honest to be scum regarding her read on singer being OMGUS
   
2. I like that she doesn't get anything out of rereading Cogito Ergo Sum, Not Mafia, and RedFlavor. I don't think it would be hard for scumAusuka to make up a scumread on whichever one she wasn't paired with (or a random one, if she was paired with none of them).
   
3. I can't really see her being paired with anybody except Dunnstral.
   
4. I especially think she's not scum with Katy

Verdict: Townlean because I don't think she's scum with Katy and I really care about points 1 and 2 in the stuff I liked section. My read is weaker than before though because of the concerns I listed.

She is upset because you are calling Singer town retroactively when you yourself called her scum in the Lynch-1 phase, but argued against her with the line "Singer was town". That, and the cognitive dissonance lie pissed her off. She's going through RL shit. I don't think she'll have you blacklisted after this, she just doesn't want your shit on top of this.

This wasn't my preferred lynch. I wanted Pine over Singer. Singer was an independent read of mine because I felt she was blank voting, especially beginning with CES at the start of the game to appeal to what I call "Team cases are scummy". In my mind she was attempting to get townread by CES and Chamber.

I did not want this lynch over Pine because I felt like it was confirmed that Singer+CES were not a scumteam.

Towns can be scummy, and she was. Pine made a poor suggestion that he was a random-lynch, which Singer rebuked, which opened a realm of associative tells I was looking at as a result. I will go more into those because I think it's still relevant with the prospects of scum!Pine.

There's been no shortage of scum indicative posts coming out from Pine all game. Rosa hit on most of them, here's all of them.

On the topic of "voting everyone"

, Pine is asked by Plotinus why he did not do it despite saying he himself considered doing so after RedFlavor did infact vote everyone at the start of the game. The action goes from

being dumb

when he supposedly considers doing it, but when forming an opinion of RedFlavor doing it,

it is scummy

. Either it is truly scummy, and Pine bit his tongue by calling it dumb in a very conscious post, or it is dumb, and Pine's motives for suspecting RedFlavor are bunk. Changing his opinion here amounts to voting low hanging fruit. RedFlavor was basically asking for it by egging Pine on-this was before the "more awkward in gd" meme.

Pine insists that he is the target of a random lynch

while claiming that we never properly left RVS. I disagree with this: we left RVS when Plotinus voted with purpose in post 15.

He votes NM for policy without presenting it as such.

We see the evolution of dumbness: to scummy, then anti-town, but does nothing to drum up support for this lynch, ever. If Pine wanted to generate discussion, he could simply say it's policy that we're lynching this. Pine does not say this, he simply votes for something dumb. It's worth noting that this isn't RVS, and votes need a better reason than this shaky logic.

However since it is Absolutely Still RVS™, why doesn't he say that NM is pushing a shit lynch-you know-that random lynch from earlier? A common scum practice is to never acknowledge your own wagon, and discredit your opponents and create the narrative that they have done wrong. If nothing else, rather than call he could have simply went hard looking for scum, or you know, at least call his vote on NM policy or do anything to drum up real support for a lynch.

between Singer's vote 34 and Pine's post 109. In this time he faced intent from Dunnstral and the awkward in GD meme. I feel like for Pine he doesn't show true survivalism until Rosa comes in and calls him scum based on PoE because

one of the votes on him can be pulled off at will

. Pine sits at L+1 and the threat is real.

I feel as if Pine only threatens to self vote with his partner already on the wagon

. At this point, a Pine lynch is looking inevitable, BUT if it's by a self-vote, Pine's "random-lynch" narrative will evaporate.

It wouldn't be a random-lynch, it would be one Pine chose.

The discussion moves away from it being a random-lynch and will turn into a discussion of who bussed. I mean, why else would you write it off as being a "random lynch" anyway?

Pine says he is abandoning fatalism

but continues to fall into the not-scum-hunting trap. Instead, he opts to

discredit Rosa

. By acknowledging his wagon in a negative way, I feel like he is

being fatalist.

* Pine's readslist is a special kind of shitpost. Somehow Plotinus is town because magic, Ausuka is an awful scum player and did good things already, singer was readable because she was scummy.

Pine failed to see that because he is scum.

CES was readable. Reduces RF and NM to anti-town memers to further harm his own lynch morale.

Rosa's so-called cogdisc read comes from her refusal to hammer Pine without hearing from me about it. She misses Singer's later unvote, which comes to a lot of scrutiny from me, in 137, because Singer was

unvoting two people at once and Rosa missed it.

This ill-fated unvote from the wagon I was pegging second scum on and subsequent fighting of the Pine wagon lead to me throwing a lot of shade and Discord onto Singer.

The language of his scumread on Rosa is disparaging.

Rosa is supposedly

knew

he was at L-1. "Dude, I'm about to be lynched and flipped." 6 posts before this one. This read in fact makes NO sense, considering Mastina said in the Queue Agents PT for Team Mafiaback in January to interact with Rosa in order to sort her. Up until

Post 126 I counted six instances of either interacting or putting focus onto Rosa.

Most of this was replying TO Rosa, who scored 10 with Pine.

Post 152 was his first interaction with Ausuka.

Despite being someone he and Mastina think they need to sort, all he does is try to create lynch morale for Rosa. For somebody that spent so long talking about his own wagon for so long, what took him so long to talk to Ausuka if his prior experience told him she was 'stealthy'? Do you let stealthy fade into the background, or do you grab stealthy by the scruff and do something productive opposed to call NM and RF anti-town?

My conclusion:

Pine is scum.

Rather than scumhunt, he discredits. The word choice used to call NM anti-town and later scum is of note. Being called wrong about the dissonance is [a] "personal attack and credibility assassination". I especially hate how he claims singer was not readable-she was-she was scummy, but he could not see it, while he can somehow asspull a read that involves not lynching his counter. I have questions regarding his play, like why he didn't self-vote, or why he didn't counterwagon himself with NM when given the opportunity. He later does bring up NM again, but I can't help but feel he doesn't mean it, considering he offers us nothing new and never scumhunted NM when he had the opportunity to earlier on.
