This is just a less nuanced way of saying that im playing the game. I read the thread, and have things that I want to talk to people about to see if things i saw where real or if they were windmills.

So, yeah, of course I am going to engage with certain people and not others right now because I dont have a need to really engage the people im tring because im tring them.

So I talk to the nulls and my srs to figure out whats what.

How do you play the game?

As I have been playing it. Interactions, real time stuff. It's good as a basis for things, but it is all manipulable. I will go back and read and glean things from past posts. I then put it together and make more jokes. My srs days are seemingly behind me.

Also, I definitely prefer lategame when I can go back and read over a game's worth of stuff. I like data mining once the pool is limited. When there are so many I really don't do much.

LLD is a powerscummer and if we do actually have town LLD she can identify powerscumming and spotlight control takes-one-to-know-one style which can be a big deal in a large. Her own ability to manipulate the gamestate is going to mitigated to whatever extent she's distrusted, going the other way.

There was no substance to it and the flinging of a vote as well as the open "I'd gk Ari or Krazy atm" nkncommittal BS is really actively bad! And in 110 posts there should be at least a few which look helpful!

I feel the same way, but LLD's scumrange on stuff like tone is worthy of an awful lot of respect. Which is what I mean when I say I feel like I need to trust my head instead of my heart. The circumstantial indicator with regards to her wagoning a player that now seems possibly a mason is independent of any amount of respect, because scum!LLD is going to have to push mislynches to win mafia.

I do still feel like there might be some reason to not lynch LLD because of mechanics.
If commuter actually beats everything in the effing game like GreyICE alleges, then if LLD no-commutes tonight and maybe N2, mafia could be horrified into shooting her. If an investigative clears her shot, she can start commuting and become BP IC, which is very powerful, it creates a huge tilt on lategame EVs.

The problem is that when I talk about this is that people are like "fuck you" and it gets really unlikely we can get value out of the nightplay if that's how everyone feels about it, because one of the PRs that would need to care is likely one of the skeptics so no cooperation.

Yeah, I tried to do that on jjh and was mostly ignored. I posted about mastina and was mostly ignored and told my reasoning sucked. I worked on some slits and didn't get anywhere. My words in mafia games have very little weight and my cases flounder almost every time.

I took a different approach and am hard defending someone I believe will sort themself later and needs to - not should, could, ideally, etc - NEEDS TO live past D1.

I've made cases and will make some more, but it won't help.

I appreciate that you can understand I know what the best play is. It's merely not something feasible when you're Ari, especially on D1 of a 27 player game.

I actually think Worstie is town. My one concern is that TW and xof might be acum together because a couple of the posts around them (explaining Chickadee's meta to her, calling LLD's case on xof "noise") seem like things he might have said in the PT and been told to put into the game.
Pine has a habit of getting people tontalk in the scum PT and trues really hard to get those posts into inthread posts when they are applicable to make things seem natural, and I kinda get that vibe here.
