Night falls quickly on the edge of Pine's domain, and a deep unease falls with it. As they cross from the Kingsroad to the ancient pathways that few travel and fewer return from the adventurers grow quiet and more than one blade vacates it's sheath. It is not long at all before the group halts, an eery chuckling echoing from the darkness of the woods. A tree, twisted by the darkness and hatred permeating this place, stands and swings it's mighty branches, deceptively quick.

A brief but fierce scuffle commences, and boughs are lopped off left and right before the tree stills, overcome by damage it cannot surmount. A shudder, a groan, and it falls. Popsofctown narrowly dodges the girth of the tree, but Lady Lambdadelta is not quite so lucky. Impaled by a sharpened end of a branch, the group grows solemn as she breathes her last.

You are quite correct! I was responding to the assumption that Ankamius made that she hammered. As Jingle has certified that an eligible party kept her end of the deal, I will honor the original terms of the bargain.

I am bound to no bargaining terms or rules but the ones I set for myself. I consider it dishonorable to alter bargains post hoc when the other party met my terms.

In this case, I thought that the terms had been rendered void. When the official count came in, however, I was mistaken.
