I do see where you're coming from and I might be wrong on him, but my gut is telling me even though he does do the manipulative leading questions bob is still fundamentally trying to sort people and he's less likely to be lying about not having reads. I also agree that you don't get to come in here at hour 23 and insist on a lynch when you're not even caught up with the whole game. I think it's really naive and wrong to assume town!chem because the wagon stalled or because he'll be more readable later in the game (??), the fact remains that bugspray made the scummiest push in the entire game and then flaked out after called on it (despite playing in Marathons all weekend), and I am finding it basically impossible to let that go.

bob feels like a vanity vote and I've been townreading him overall. I don't think the bugs wagon stalling out is any indication that the slot's alignment, I think it's more indicative that the slot just hasn't done anything up until Chem replaced in.

also I'm rereading and Menalque I want to emphasize loud and clear that lynching bugslot is NOT a lurker lynch (unless you want to say that literally any lynch on a low-volume player is a "lurker" lynch regardless of other reasons you have for voting them).

I have several reasons for scum reading the slot altogether that NOBODY has taken me to task for. I've been pushing these all game and cannot seem to find a single person who is willing or able to argue on the other side of it.

1) ceejay shades UP slot and doesn't push back against votes there at all, yet calls it 'too scummy to be scum', rest of ISO is fluff posting, no real scumreads or pushes
2) bugspray replaces in and fluff posts, votes on Looker and calls him LAMIST. when asked to explain, they then change the reasoning and add in this particular point - "intentionally not quoting posts to make his ISO harder to reread".

3) I call out bugspray on this and wait for some response
4) bugspray continues fluffposting and completely ignores my call out entirely
5) I reiterate the callout while also pushing other players for ignoring it
6) bugspray posts in thread AGAIN without addressing it, then replaces out
7) chemist comes in and makes a survivalistic play supporting his predecessor's counterwagon vote (without justifying it on his own), there's no new reasoning for scumreading Looker, gives other bland entirely safe-reads and fluffposts

so what we have is a slot with some 61 posts (which is more than me!) between three players with only one actual vote, on its main counterwagon, which was originally explained with incredibly scummy reach-y fake sounding reasons.

Tell me why I'm supposed to townread this slot. Tell me why I'm supposed to prefer the "hey, this is more likely to be three town players collectively doing their best to try to sort alignments and solve the game" explanation over "none of this shit makes sense or looks like real game solving" explanation.

Tell me why I'm supposed to lynch bob instead, who has consistently been here throughout, pressuring a myriad of players (some of whom were otherwise mostly not pressured), who has been interacting on a substantial level with basically every player in the game.

Pine would be a lurker lynch. there's literally nothing there to read at all. but ceej-bugs-chem lynch is not a lurker lynch. it is a lynch on a slot that has good odds of scum.
