I think dragon is pretty useful when he's not scum which counsels against hero shooting. Hero shooting is probably most valuable when you're getting errantly scumread and that's eroding your credibility so try to assess whether that's the gamestate. If you can't get the exiles you want because you're not persuasive enough rather than because you are personally scumread, the very reasons you're not persuasive will often make the hero shot bad.

There's a dominion card called Haven that is kind of recursive in that you can Haven a Haven to guarantee that next turn you will be able to Haven again, but the first Haven will be in play and can't be Haven'd, so you can DoubleHaven, but not TripleHaven, so the name makes me feel annoyed.

You can use the card that triple's a card power to Haven three things but it's a really bad play because Haven is a weak card to spend that on.

The latter half of the question is arguably a townslip because Tipsy is envisioning herself shooting a player who desperately gets some value out of their shot with their last minutes by shooting another player. She assigns the pronoun "I" to the player not in any danger at all, even though the impersonal form of "you" could be used for the entire question. A scum!Tipsy has an increased probability of being the player who gets great value out of firing a last gasp shot and a reduced probability of shooting other players and triggering a last gasp shot, since she probably wouldn't be shooting at scum. This makes interjecting herself into the hypothetical in the manner that she did counterintuitive and less natural than an impersonal "you" phrasing.

I'm somewhat fond of the casual but not lamist manner in which Tipsy exposed herself with her death policy. I think once you're out of the low information stage there's drastically reduced credit for being responsible for moving the game along. like, especially in a large theme. the large theme meta is if you aren't active in a large theme you're gonna lose. whereas if you aren't active in a small game you're fine. If you know him you know that's not necessarily a locked in rhythm for the rest of the game like a chronic lurker, he keeps busy IRL and stuff. He's generally perceived as an above average player and shooting him before he possibly has an activity spike that's also in range of how much he might participate in a game can completely prevent him developing an accurate scumread on any scum in the game before it happens

It is not a natural way to feel about an almost solved game I don't think.

Tipsy is maybe a better exile than Keiji based on Mena's NKA actually. We now have 2 flips of people where it's pretty normal that they'd shoot Bell, so we can construct a full scumteam that makes it work pretty plausibly

With only 1 flip there was a lot more equity in, "actually both of norwee's partners seems like they ought to know better than to shoot Bell but it was one of those weird takes"

I think it's pretty plausible for jjh!scum to join this game and correctly townread an oft-maligned player, pick a partner to bus D1, and shoot the townread that is difficult to pivot to attacking because the other partner isn't in good standing either and it looks like a solo win where he needs a town full of people he can push.

The setup seems balanced, there are dayplay reasons to explain why scum lost this time around. If I had to suggest a change I would ban shot reciprocity because I think the setup is more interesting without shot trading.

I think "I shot scum so I'm town" is already balanced, there is some WIFOM to it.
I don't think it's a problem for a universal mechanic to help the town, not all mechanics need to be neutral in how they impact the factions.

I'm not that opposed to the idea of scum seeing their shot results in advance. I would keep it at 15% same as the townies so that there's not a probability metagame around that.
