My spicy take is that Umlaut and DDL aren’t appealing elim candidates, and I don’t really have anything else to add to this line of conversation.
"This Court has never held that the Constitution forbids the execution of a convicted defendant who has had a full and fair trial but is later able to convince a habeas court that he is 'actually' innocent." In re Davis, 557 U.S. 952, 955 (2009) (Scalia, J., dissenting).

issue fmpov is it's pretty transparently incorrect and does a better job of creating gamestate friction than finding actual scum but I think it's probably just intuition and I'm overthinking it

It's always the same. When you fire that first shot, no matter how right you feel, you have no idea who's going to die. You don't know whose children are going to scream and burn. @s_s

i myself don't think it's unusual, and also like, the rolecop/UB pair seems like... one of the least likely for scum to pick. idk.
I will straight up disregard all reason if you have a PR dream again. You can come back and be like, “I dreamt that Locke is a N2 Bulletproof Multitasking Cop and Self-Targeting Doctor,” and I will go, “Okay, Locke kill it is then.”

sure, this checks out.
drdolittle is probably crazy enough that this reasoning occurs to him as town. not really convinced he's crazy enough that it occurs to him as scum?

also I think I tend to agree there's a kind of antisynergy in marquis/umlaut picks actually

I think Umlaut is a better kill than DDL by almost every metric.

That said Gypyx is probably superior to both.

-Furthermore, scum DID pick 1-vig, and it is obvious that no 2 scums would go for the same pair. If we believe that there is scum in the first 3 picks and it wasnt only marqis, THERE NECESSARILY IS a scum favouring role among Doc, Umlau, and S_S.

Im A-ok sending doc to the gallows just for his role tbh.
VOTE: Doc
so doc is scum because he has a different take on mechanics to u, interesting. could I get a bit more about why this makes him aligned with the mafia and not just VERY SILLY?

As I said repeatedly yesterday they are scum together. Gypyx was also wagoned and tried to draw votes away from his vig scumbuddy. He's started today off by hard lurking because he failed and has been caught.

Convince me otherwise I double triple dare you.

You don't think they are?

I was literally about to say that word pushing this gives him massive scum equity if DDL/Umlaut are both town.

I think there's huge scum equity in what they're pushing, but I don't think both surviving scum dive into such a bad opinion when it's transparently unpopular. I actually think it's probably +scum for Gypyx more than word.
