gut townie? i like early readslists presented like that. the only thing that pinged me was the fact i was a sole null, but i think if elements were scum and bullshitting reads early, it probably wouldn't be a problem to bs a read on me too, so i actually don't think it's ai.

I agree that the presentation of Elements's reads looks town on the surface, but I'm surprised more people aren't noticing the lack of commitment to a read on the players Elements should supposedly have a much easier time reading. Obviously it's early to be expecting "commitment", but they didn't have a problem slapping full town/scum labels on people with only 1 post.

i don't like 68 and 95. the way they're questioning and poking elements about their gut reads and the way they form them seems to be more ~for show~ rather than being genuinely curious about them. also i'm getting pinged by the way they shade testa in 90 for looking like she's trying extra hard, when that's the read i get from their posts. seems somewhat... self-aware?

Elements did not directly answer my first question, but posting the readslist and the ensuing discussion was a satisfying enough response to me. Rather than prod for a direct answer, I pivoted to a different line of questioning, one that is more relevant now, and that nobody else seems to be picking up on. I don't fully understand what you're saying about Testa. Are you saying that I'm trying hard as well and so shouldn't be suspicious of her, or just that you had an opposite read?

i'm not talking about your progression between the two, i'm talking about the way those posts were formed. i think the questions themselves were fine, it just seemed a bit too performative / wordy, as in you were moreso making sure that everyone sees you're solving ele than actually solving them

it reminded me of a semi-recent game where i got called out as scum for something similar - iirc i was showing a scummy behaviour and also calling someome else out for said scummy behaviour. yeah, i kinda find it odd you'd hold it against her?

My problem with Testa's push is that she's just describing what the RVS stage generally looks like, "rubbing two sticks together" as VP put it, and trying to find blame to put on VP.

I don't understand why you'd have time to ISO Italiano but not just reread the full game.

I dislike Testarossa's post about VP. She comes out looking like she is trying extra hard, putting a lot of thought into the game, maybe an asset to town, but it's far too early in my opinion for any of those points against VP to have come from a genuine ping.

I posted 72 irt to my interaction with VP. Then I went and skimmed back over the page which is why I mentioned 73 and 74 after the fact.

Now I don’t have read on Tessaract yet. Mindmelding doesn’t exactly mean anything alignment wise, but I wanted to point it out to see how they responded to it.

It seems a little reachy to me. Duchess made a fair point questioning Elements' reads list.

Duchess probably is reaching on Testa, but her style as town is fairly verbose, so I can see someone being thrown by that. It is all a bit early to tell what is smoke and what is fire.

Well it sure felt like it. I can’t speak for what they actually and I doubt they’ll go into it, but I posted a couple of RVS style posts and neither of my partners had posted yet. I felt like he had the inside scoop. I did think it was awesome though.

Have you played with Duchess before?

Nah, can’t say that I have. I’m not sure where to place them yet, but if I had to say, their posts and takes have seemed townie.
